Bring back the Fitbit Web Dashboard

It would be nice to have a Fitbit dashboard app for PC. I'm a senior and it is hard to read the dashboard on my phone.

Agreed. Bring back the Fitbit.com server

A browser interface is useable on ANY platform and can easily sit on top of the same backend servers as the app. It's beyond senseless to not have a browser based Dashboard. It shows total disregard for your user base.

I’m reading one compelling post after another for bringing back the FitBit dashboard. I’m seeing ZERO response from the company explaining why users should be okay with this destruction of functionality. Is FitBit conceding that we should switch to Apple Watch or Garmin; it just can’t or won’t reinstate the dashboard?

it's frustrating to see how "big money" buys top products like fitbit and
takes them off the market to sell their own products. Btw same happened to
"runtastic" - a top product for joggers...

Getting back into my fitness and eating routines... DEVASTATED to learn that the online dashboard is gone.

A number of us are also upset. But it looks like Google are not commenting.

Please bring back the Dashboard. It's so much easier to use.  When I'm ready to buy a new device I won't be looking at Fitbit without an online dashboard.

Can't agree more. I'm not about to endlessly scroll back one day at a time to see what steps it recorded for me that day. You can't compare anything, and if you accidentally closed it, good luck scrolling back day by day to get to last month again.

What really gets me is them rubbing it in with not updating the weekly emails and leaving the "view dashboard" link there that only takes you to the store page. If they keep this up I'm definitely going to a store page, just not theirs.

I've been having issues with my fitness app at work dropping some workout days and I want to make sure that's not because I didn't actually get those steps in on my fitbit, guess I'll never know.

I can't even find a way to even export that data on my own, though just looking at raw numbers in a spreadsheet has significantly less impact than it does with graphs etc on what the old dashboard was.

Bravo Google, you seem to have found a way to make a product worse and encourage users to leave your platform. This wasn't the brainchild of a diversity hire by chance?

I agree why have a link to a web page that now does not exist. Do their IT
people not check things before it is signed off. We all know the answer to
that question .

Other websites have surveys and feedback forms why does Google not do this,
as they obvious do not read these messages.

As long as Google doesn't bring back the dashboard, preferring to promote the sale of premium memberships that not everyone in the world can get and only works if you also regularly buy other devices from them, I won't buy another Fitbit or other Google product.

Like just about everyone else, I expect no response or action from them.

Agreed. I love the Pixel 3 watch, the app, but we really need a web dashboard.

Please, Google!

Thanks for nothing Google. It's beyond senseless to not have a browser based Dashboard. It shows total disregard for your user base. Google is worth billions of dollars and it won't do things for the people who helped get them there? Another case of the oligarchy in America.

Very frustrating that this has been removed. Trying to force Apps on everyone's phone is malicious.

I agree, it is ridiculous that they actually *removed* this functionality!

Between this, lack of cardio for spinning, and extremely low HRV readings, I am seriously thinking about using a different watch!

I'll be surprised if Google doesn't launch a fitness portal - watch this space.

100%. As a long time garmin user who recently swapped due to the automatic sync to peloton I was horrified at the lack of stats coming across….no cadence, no output, no resistance and seeming no ability to track your performance on anything over time….thought perhaps the web would have it…..there is no web! Seriously google did you sack all your product managers and engineers? The quality of Fitbit is what I would expect of a start up, not one of the largest companies in the world.

Agreeing with everyone here! The dashboard was always handy if I wanted to check something quickly when I didn't have my phone on me, or when I knew trying to check through the app would be a cumbersome task. I've been against Apple products for years, but can't wait for my Fitbit to die (and it's already on it's way out, the battery lasting 3 days at MOST) so I can look into investing in an Apple watch, or ANY tracker that isn't a Fitbit.

I really miss the dashboard and am looking for an alternative to Fitbit at this point.

Totally agree. I used the Fitbit Dashboard daily when I was on my diet a few years ago.
Recently I dusted off my old Fitbit Aria scale and bought a new Google Pixel watch fired up to get back on my diet. Started logging my weight again...... and just found out that you got rid of the dashboard. The literally best part of the fitbit service. And you got rid of it.

The app is a disaster for weight loss tracking when compared to what the dashboard could do. I hate having to look on a super tiny screen to track stuff and there is a lot of data missing in the app that was there in the dashboard, like it would take your body fat % and show you on a graph how much lean mass you had vs fat. That's missing in the app.

Ultimately I'm just incredibly disappointed that you removed the dashboard. You removed the best part of the service and you have made me regret my purchase of the Google Pixel watch because now I'm stuck using Fitbit which I don't want to do anymore.

This will be the last Fitbit product I purchase and I will switch to some other line of products because you removed the best part of the service.

Removing the dashboard was a shameful, stupid decision.

I agree there should be a web dashboard. I just bought a Fitbit Charge 6 expecting that I'll be able to see my data both on my mobile app and in my browser on desktop.

I'm not a senior like the original poster, but I really want the web dashboard. I spend a lot of time throughout the day at my desk, on my computer. If I want to look at my fitness/sleep data, put that data into a spreadsheet, email a screenshot to my friend or to my doctor, I shouldn't have to switch my attention from my computer to my phone to accomplish those things.

That makes a lot of sense! A PC dashboard would be much more accessible Spotify++, especially for those who prefer a larger screen. Hope Fitbit considers bringing it back.

Hi @db32080 no, the dashboard for computers was removed in stages and I doubt it will return. Most people use their smartphones to set up, sync and keep track of their activities. I miss it, too.
