Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

The new display is horrible. Please provide a way top return to the simple to read sleep data where it was possible to navigate to see details and more info.  The sleep display is the main reason I am using an Inspire 3. You may not care since you already have my money, and if this is not fixed I will need to find a new fitness tracker that gives me the sleep data that I need!

There appears to have been no user feedback in this latest update.

You can't scroll and observe any stage, the contrast is horrid if you are visually challenged and you can't rotate the page to get better view of the data.

All in all, now a useless app.

Maybe time to try another product because this one no longer works for me and my family..

Or, here's an idea, rollback the app to where it was user friendly and actually gave you data you could use.

The new sleep layout is absolute rubbish. Almost no contrast between the different colors for the different sleep stages. This is a big downgrade from the previous layout. Don't "fix" things that aren't broken.

I am also another disgruntled user regarding the changes in the app, especially the sleep tracking records. Very difficult to read, very difficult to make meaning of. I much much much preferred the older version. If you continue to use this format, I will not buy a Fitbit again in the future. Sleep is so important and tracking my sleep is so very important to me. I feel very discouraged. I see I’m not alone.

Depressing isn’t it to see a perfectly good product turned into a complete shambles

I’ve been with Fitbit many years and had several watches.
let’s hope they listen to their public and bring back the old sleep layout very soon.
The new layout is poor, not user friendly at all. Those with sight, and some learning issues cannot see clearly or understand the new visual layout.
it is not inclusive or suitable for some of the neurodiverse groups.
It was not a good decision to change it.
Please change it back, you are alienating your customers

The last 2 times fitbit has changed the interface it has gotten worse.  It is now terrible - all color gone and not user friendly.  I don't know what is going on, but the product design team be replaced if this is there idea of progress.  I am going to start looking at other apps.

I’m joining the voices about not liking the new format. Don’t you test it first with people actually using the features versus a staff member thinking they have a creative change? Were people actually complaining about the old format? Most of us view the app on our phones. It’s tiny and very unreadable on the phone sized screen. Very disappointed.

Yeah I'm another unhappy user haha. I get that if I say "the interface was fine in June 2022, go back to that", a bunch of people that used it before would say "no, it was bad then! Change it back to how it was before that!" which suggests that every new change is bad always. You can't please everyone, and new users are gonna be more open to how it currently looks than old users probably. But also. The latest update just brought back the sleep graph we had two updates ago, and made it look terrible. I like that the graph is back, I like that I don't have to click three times to find it, but the lack of colors and all the dotted lines and writing on it makes it look like an EKG printout. You went back to an old functionality because that's what we were begging for, but it looks terrible. I am begging you to stop changing how it looks, or to allow customization. I will not be paying for premium, ever, if this continues.

Edit: Last night I unfortunately woke up in the middle of the night, as is common for me, and I see that if we have more than one sleep period in one day it only shows one at the top? Or something? I had a shorter period at the beginning, then i finally fell back asleep later for a longer period, and it only shows the longer period at the top. The shorter sleep period is sequestered towards the bottom of the page under Other Sleep. This doesn't help me at all! I have "other sleep" very often! Now i have to scroll to examine it? Come on...

The April ‘24 sleep all update is worthless, illegible, **ahem**. I bought the Fitbit and subscription only for the sleep info. I could care less about the wellness programs. This update must have been formulated by someone who knows NOTHING about sleep issues. How about refunding the Charge 6 I just bought so I can buy an Apple Watch?

The new sleep schedule format is truly annoying. I can not really see what is going on on it now.  I have been a customer for almost 6 years and I have purchased multiple models. I have always wanted the Apple Watch but it has always been just out of my price range thus why I’ve always stayed with Fitbit. But this change will be the reason I I change to Apple. As soon as I need a replacement. Thank you

I just voted for a post in this thread… and the total votes decreased by one. What is going on??

The new Sleep interface is a step in the wrong direction.  In fact it just looks like a mess and is not helpful. It is apparent that some "designer" just wanted to leave his mark; regardless of the mess he made.

Can anyone out there recommend an alternative to Fitbit? If this is the appalling design trend that they're going to follow I need to find something different to track sleep, etc. The sleep tracker is pretty unusable now.

I agree. I do not like how the sleep section of the fitbit app looks now. I did not install any update for fitbit, so I didn't know any changes were coming. The graph is too way busy. I can't read it. Plus, if I'm honest, it is not aesthetically pleasing. I liked the old version better.

I VBS totally agree.  The sleep benchmark is almost useless.  It is not clear at all.

I absolutely agree…the new graph is hard to read. The old one gave information in an easier format. This new one is not user friendly! Plus there isn’t an oxygen variation graph anymore which I also liked.

What is this?! I just slept from 8PM and woke up at 11PM to find the sleep display completely changed. Not only that but it claims I slept from 2-10 AM and that hasn't even happened yet??? Saying I slept 10 hours today is crazy fitbit. Its 11PM. Talking to support is useless because they just spam robotic messages and don't answer simple questions

I agree, fitbit needs to change this ASAP. Its confusing and badly done. Everyone is going to switch to another brand lmao.

The new graph isn’t readable…. Please test stuff before updating it and please revert back to the old Fitbit app, before google started messing around with it. Really disappointed.

It is actually offensive to look at.  Why pay extra for this mess?

This new design is awful to view and confusing. No good for Neuro diverse people or people with any kind of impairment. You can’t distinguish between deep/REM etc sleep easily over a week anymore.

I agree with the other comments. This new sleep display is not as effective as the previous one. It’s difficult to see the data in a quick glance. The Fitbit sleep app is the only reason I haven’t switched to an Apple Watch, since I’ve had so many problems with my watch face coming off my versa 2. Now might be a good time to switch though.

Totally agree. I came to this conclusion when checking the FitBit website. There is a notification that the Fitbit site will be changing and I also noted that the Google Pixel watch is now available through the FitBit shop.
I think suspect that the Fitbit name will disappear to be replaced by Google Pulse ( or similar name) and that the new apps are being designed for this format rather than to supplement existing FitBit products
