Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

I wonder if google could stand the "Budwieser" treatment over their sleep app downgrade and lack of response/action? Have gone from Google to Brave as my search engine.

The most recent iOS app update is a devolution, not evolution.  It doesn’t look as nice and is harder to use.  Please restore the old look.  Spouse and I are nearing time for new trackers - for me the current app is reason to look to another brand.

There are so many voice about the new sleep app failure. We all want the old Fitbit sleep app back. I contacted Fitbit support. The agent just told me to Vote. They love to collect bad comments without action. Nothing has been done with so many comments about the failed sleep update. Does Fitbit cares about their customer? I am very disappointed about the Fitbit services.

They don't care because there are millions of Fitbit users and only a few
thousand have contributed to this post. They know full well that if a
percentage of those few thousand dump them then, on balance, it'll be less
expensive and less aggro for them to take that relatively small hit than
reverting the app and, probably, halting further development along the
lines of whatever ill-conceived model they're now committed to pursuing.

I have a desktop and have found that i can go to the bottom of the page on sign in and in very small text there's a return to old browser line.  brings me back to the way the statistical page was.  i can edit sleep there.      and as i have a monthly form to fill out for a group i'm in i can go back and get all my steps there.   much better than the app where i have to hunt for the details.  i can't imagine whoever thought this change was ok.  guess they didn't hear the line if it ain't break leave it alone.

The new color schemes represent ADA violations. Any attempt to open this
topic to scrutiny has been quashed.

THOUSANDS of owners are simply asking (or maybe demanding) a public and
visible response to major problems represented in the effects of this
change.

In the view of Fitbit owners, Google has completely ignored and is
attempting to silence its customers. This MAY represent a violation of the
First Amendment of the United States, that being the right to free speech.

Both the ADA violations and the First Amendment violations are currently a
topic of legal review.

The above DOES REFLECT an approach that is an attempt to achieve a response
to the problem, and IN THAT, also reflects a positive nature related to
attempting to provide assistance to owners representing the failure of this
change.

For the moderators, if there is a way this can be represented to
appropriate management levels without legal intervention, please let us
know. The ASK here (and from all) is REALLY an attempt for Google to
resolve a problem, and IN THAT, it IS asks for an approach the if affirming
in its actions.

Google/Fitbit doesn’t care. I’ve put my Fitbit in a drawer & purchased a new watch.

@PotionBrother In customer care they say that for every unhappy customer that makes a complaint, there’s on average 26 unhappy customers who don’t make a complaint. I’m sure there are people who don’t use the community website but who’ve complained through other channels such as social media, email etc. However, at this stage I doubt they’d care if they received millions of complaints. It seems to me that they’ve made up their minds and are going to get rid of Fitbit once Google takes over completely and we’ve to use their watches. I certainly won’t.

Good user design gives the most relevant and wanted information with as little digging as possible -- presented clearly and with ease of access.

I think making the page presentation customizable ... Like the front page, will allow individuals to prioritize what is important to them to see with a quick glance or display. Secondary details to them can be viewed as a click to a pop-up or second page. Nice to still have access to all the insights, but I'd personally like to be able to show what matters to me!

Good response, but sadly it is clear that Google doesn’t care. It seems they want to do away with the Fitbit brand. I have already purchased a new watch, certainly not a Google watch.

Omg! So the fix of signing in with Google for Android users has just been 'unfixed'! I've woken this morning to the crap, new sleep stats again.

What is wrong with this company? They really don't care, do they?

If anyone has found a different company with sleep stats you can correct as easily as the old Fitbit ones, please share.

When I get a chance, I'll be looking for a new watch, Fitbit has made it clear they really don't want my business.

Their complete disregard, refusal to address our concerns and now their pushing this unwelcome change out further in the midst of this backlash is simply appalling. They don't deserve to stay in business.

The moderators want us to be positive in what we post here
.. I want to provide SOLUTIONS (which no one at either Fitbit or Goofle has
offered)
there are solutions (for instance) out on Facebook to revert the app (it
works on Android, I did find it). When I post these solutions, a couple
hundred Fitbit users are now elated to have their functionality returned to
them, the LIKE their Fitbit devices again (old Sleep app is great). The new
violates ADA (vision impaired (e.g. macular degen) users are unable to see
the graphs any longer). A small legal team is considering HOW much this
violates ADA.

if you mean what alternatives are people switching to because
Goofle won't fix this, I am switching to Oura (a ring). I have also heard
good things about a new startup called Spade&Co.

I think we should all flood their Instagram with requests to revert.  They clearly don't listen to anything here at all nor do they care.  They care more about socials I suspect. If we all comment on the last post they put up they might notice

Thanks! I tried to implement it today. I just thought 'well so much for
that' thinking that it just doesn't work. But they've nobbled it! At least
I can uninstall the extra app's, then.

Bring back old sleep functions. How loud do we have to be about this?

I already have
they don't care, they've already made their money off "us"
.. the new app even forces the use of Premium for some of the old free
functions (but even on Premium, they are STILL not fixing the now broken
sleep graphs).

I have found a way to revert my app so I see the good sleep graphs. It's on
Facebook Fitbit Groups and works (but only for Android)

I agree with all the comments- I do not like the new format for the sleep graph's.  The old bar graph format was perfect and easy to read.  I am almost to the point where I might look into an Apple watch.  The sleep graph was the most important feature for me and I looked at it daily- and now it is not visually appealing and is hard to read to compare in the weekly format or against averages.  Why change a good thing!

I agree, the sleep part of the app was the most beneficial and the oxygen graph. This is really depressing that no one at Fitbit/Google gives a darn!!!

Totally agree. The old format was better but Fitbit has already said they won’t be changing it back so I think everyone should accept that by now despite the multitude of complaints and take other action for future watch choices…

I suggest allowing users to choose the "look" of sleep reporting in the FitBit app (old version or new version) and other aspects of the app, just like we can choose from several clock faces on our devices. I liked the old sleep reporting and I don't like the new version at all, and I would like to have the choice.

I was told that they are not able to change the sleep summary back . I’m not sure why that would be the case.
I’m not aware of any other response or feedback from Fitbit regarding all these complaints..
