Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

This new update is awful. I can even get it to track my sleep correctly further aggravated by the fact that this new version is incomprehensible. Please bring back the old version!!!!!

Please bring back the old sleep data display. I don't like the new one. There should at least be an option to switch between the old and new interface. This is making me consider another device.

Yes, the new layout is awful. My brain just interprets it as a bunch of dots. I was perfectly happy with the old style.

I absolutely HATE the new FITBIT SLeep layout, how can you do such a thing????   it's horrible. So ugly and NOT AT ALL EASIER...people have LESS TIME, and  you are using too much of it....  Please allow us to at least CHOOSE AN OPTION to keep it the same way.  WHAT ARE YOU, fascist in your dictatorship?   They way you unilaterally do these things buggers belief- and your designers--should be fired.  I will be quitting  using fitbit if you don't allow me to use it the way it was. It is NOT an improvement.

The new sleep stages graph is awful. The colour and layout of the old one was so much easier to read. Combined with a fading screen on my device and also the app now making me sign in again every day, I think it's time to move away from Fitbit

The old Fitbit sleep app was so well designed that Apple chose to copy it for the Smartwatch sleep app. It had universal appeal with Fitbit users. The new one initiated by Google does not. It looks like something an accountant would come up with rather than a designer. The old app had features easier to use and understand.

The move to Google, associating a device etc is way too difficult, Im out

The Fitbit rep on Twitter told me "this is how the new format of sleep data will be moving forward"

Pretty good indication of: We're not going to fix it.

The real problem, @josekreif, is that there are no more Fitbit reps.  These are now Google reps given that most Fitbit staff has been shown the door.  The product itself is a Fitbit but anything backing it up is Google now.  Fitbit developers would have never done something like what has been forced on us since last September.  Or if they had, they would be responsive to such intense blowback.  Google is repurposing the parts of Fitbit they like for use in their Pixel branded products but otherwise the purchase of Fitbit was functionally a catch-and-kill of a superior competitor.  That's not uncommon in the tech word.

No surprises since Google now owns fitbit. Supposedly Google is coming out
with their own tracker, so they will no doubt be encouraging fitbit users
to buy their tracker. 🙄

I hate the new sleep pattern chart! Terrible! The one before was great! Go back!

Google has always had their own tracker. The problem is that only a small minority bought it, because the alternatives were Apple, Fitbit, and Garmin.

Google only acquired Fitbit to consume their userbase. With no effort, Google has bought their way to what I believe to be #1 spot in the wearable market.

Once my Fitbit dies, I will NEVER buy another Fitbit. I bought it because all my friends had a unique sleep graph which I liked. Now, it’s gone. So will my own ship be!  Plan on switching to paying the big bucks for Apple Watch.

The new sleep tracker is less concise, less interactive, and far worse than the old one. Example: You used to be able to click on the small "awake" sections and the exact time would pop up. This feature is no longer available. New tracker is also uglier, and spread out across multiple pages instead of one. Terrible UI. Thousands of people agree.

Same here.  Also when you clicked on the graph, it showed the time. If I wanted to see how long I was awake it was easy to figure out.  This new graph is a summary and that's it.  Agree with other users, the app is becoming LESS useful as opposed to more useful :(.

It is terrible that more than 2500 people have commented and posted about the change and they are doing nothing to bring it back or at least make options available. This is exactly what they did when the removed the challenges too. Again over 2500 people commented on how much they loved the challenges (including me)  Fitbit was wonderful when it was FitBit.  Now Google has pretty much destroyed all the good that it once had.

Even with all the changes, i will still use this over going to an apple.  Also I really do not want to have to go spend  more money on another tracker at this time.  I will make do with what I have especially since I have already paid for the premium.  I have been using various fitbits for more than 10 years now and I honestly don't want to start over and try to find something compatiable. ☹️

Sadly nothing is going to change.

Fitibt on Twitter says "This is how it's going to be going forwards"

Fitbit support via email says "If there's a problem with the UI, you should report it on our feedback forums" - Despite the fact it's already been reported and voted on by 2.5 thousand users.

Fitbit mods here on the forums in other sections link people back here.

Fitbit has officially lost me as a customer. I have been checking only to realize that the sleep app will never be what it was. Once mine dies, I will not buy another one. I used to look forward to checking my sleep quality every morning and even competed with my sister. Big mistake Fitbit!

Let’s all commit to stop using Fitbit and delete the app from our phones. Maybe then, Fitbit will realize what a huge mistake they have made!

I am right there with you.  As soon as the one I have quits working I'm moving on to another product.

Can anyone tell me if they are still getting a sleep score? I have no
score and the tracker gives me Awake, Restless and Asleep. it shows I
slept for 6h 51m and was restless for 3h 34m for a total of 6h 51 m..
do the math. I woke up at 7am and it shows 8:22. This is all broken.

yes, still getting a sleep score but don’t know how accurate.

Very disappointed with the change. I used to like seeing the stages and percentage of sleep along with a comparison for the night between my average and others in my age group.

Looks like google have made this a premium option to force subscriptions.

Time to move to a different tracker now. So disappointed and angry.

Since your sleep time was less than 4 hours or so, you got their standard sleep stats. They require more hours asleep to make a better assessment.
