Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

If this product feedback receives votes from other customers and gains popularity, it will be shared internally with various teams at Fitbit.

The old one is still available on the iOS app on the "Compose" page. A square with an arrow facing up appears at the top of the page on an exercise summary. Tap on the box and the "Compose" page appears with Exercise, Food, Weight, Activity, Badges, Photo, and Sleep buttons. Tap on Exercise and you will see your activities history with the familiar heart rate graph as with tapping on Sleep will bring up your familiar nightly sleep graph. I only wish that Google would put this square box with upward arrow on the today page of the iOS app instead of keeping it hidden on a session report. If you have no "exercise session" on the current day to tap on, use the date directional arrow to go back to yesterday's exercise and tap on it to bring up the summary.

I thought Fitbit had upgraded the sleep record to premium and gave us a cheap and nasty simplified chart. It appears this is actually an update??? It ridiculous and does register sleep line it used to and no longer gives me a score! What the hell is going Fitbit??

You seem to be updating various things and making the app worse and not fit for purpose!!!! YOU DONT HAVE TO CHANGE OR DEVELOP THE APP, JUST REMOVE THE SLEEP UODATE THAT WENT IN!

Hi,

I posted about this information over 2 months ago. If you go to the ‘You’ tab at the bottom of the page then tap on ‘Feed’ - you may need to scroll right to see ‘Feed’. Near the top right of the page is the running man and moon tap on either of these and then most of the data is there in the old format.

That why I don't understand why they can’t use this in the front end of the app.

However, my Versa 4 has started acting so strange now that’s only use is as a watch. Today I cycled 10km to pick up something from a shop and then cycled 10km back. It recorded the outward journey but nothing for the return journey despite my ‘active zone minutes’ showing me doing ‘vigorous’ activity.

I despair with Fitbit/Google now and at one time it was the love of my life.

I’ve had over 1500 emails in response to my original post of 18th April and I am still getting about 10 a day but no word from Google.

that's a nice work-around but we don't need a work-around. We need our data
direct(like before) ..Plain & simple please, please .....or I 'm gone
elsewhere for sleep tracking.

We're getting closer to 2,800 votes, but have not see the sleep charts fixed yet. Google, please answer your customers and address this.

I might have voted but I'm voting again.  I've already ordered a new fitness watch/tracker from someone who is NOT Fitbit.  We've been together for almost 7 years and I'm a little sad about how this is all playing out.

Thanks for posting this again for those who may have missed it. It is exactly what I was talking about, and your work around is great. And yes, why did they hide this instead of linking to it up front? I hope others will give this a try.

You are correct. I wonder what “genius” came up with the idea of improving something that worked perfectly fine only to make it substantially worse!

So, I just have to say, when this app was first changed, I wasn’t happy either. I posted an email about not being happy about it like most everyone else. I ordered a Spade & Co. Health Smartwatch 3. It seemed as though quite a few people were recommending them. To make a comparison, I wore both my Fitbit Tracker and the Spade & Co watch at the same time. The steps on the Health Smartwatch were GROSSLY over my actual steps. I wasn’t fond of the app that supposedly works with the watch, plus, I had to put my weight in manually. I have the Fitbit Aria scale. All I have to do is step on the scale and it syncs right to my app! I was having trouble getting sleep stages and bench marks, but I asked a question in the app and found out what was wrong (wearing the tracker too loose and not high enough on my wrist/arm). I’ve been getting both ever since! Truthfully, the app for the Spade watch I feel is worse! But, to read your sleep cycles…it looks just like the Fitbit app. I’m sticking with Fitbit!

Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery!
Today is a gift!
That’s why we call it the present!
Enjoy your gift of today!
Blessings!

Please bring back the old sleep graph, it was clear, easy to read and provided information that could easily be compared about my sleep through the entire week at a simple glance.. now it's so complicated to try to compare days and actually understand how my sleep went.

I feel deeply disappointed ever since this change. Sleep tracking is one of the main reasons I got a Fitbit in the first place.

Absolutely correct! Is ANYONE FROM FITBIT reading these comments?

They aren't going too. We become nothing the second Fitbit became a sell out to Google. It's unfortunate, but true.

I can't see any of the items you are referencing here.  I cannot find any of the information in the old format.  I will not be renewing my premium subscription.  The sleep data is horrible and very difficult to read in the new graph form.  That is the most important information to me.  The rest of the changes I can deal with, but this one is ridiculous.  Someone really missed the mark on this one!

The new app is almost useless vs the old one that was great!

Not working for me.  Still the same garbage.  I will use my current Fitbit until it craps out and then will move on.

How do you get to the compose page?

At the bottom of the screen in the app, touch the YOU icon. You will then see a screen with the word COMMUNITY in the middle with four pictures below it. The one on the right says FEED. TAP it. Then you see a screen with a question, “What are you up to?” To the right is a small figure of a running person and a crescent moon. Tap there. The next page has all the original data formats. Tap on any of them to see your data as it used to be. What a pain!!

Thank you for the directions to my old sleep score. Is there any way to keep it that way or do I have to go through the steps every day?
