Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

The 4.27.1 update has put the sleep history after tapping on sleep on home page and history is categorized under days, weeks, months, years. Months and years may take a few moments (minute or so or may not load) to load or crash the app but under each of these time frames, the nightly average is calculated for the months of the year or days of the week... The sleep score has returned. My home page has "Recovery" printed above the sleep section. Before the last crash it had a sleep score there.

I and my wife have reached out to the moderators (no response about the bad
sleep app fix status)
we have reached out to support (they closed my ticket without resolution)

I have reached out to support chat MULTIPLE times
they provide no hope of a resolution to the horrible sleep app

I have given up trying to get help on my now broken Fitbit Sense 2
Google / Fitbit WON'T fix it
Google / Fixbit won't respond to information requests or process
requests

I have up and switched devices (Oura Ring)

I have given up!

As an early adaptor and owner of many past Fitbits and a Pixel 2 watch (not to mention Many Pixel phones), I am disenchanted with the evolution and final direction of the products. It was bad enough when the Sleep app was flipped upside down and given back to us with less information and in a format making it hard to find the remaining data we wanted. And now my Pixel watch tells me I'm getting 1 to 3 hours of sleep a night when I know for a fact my bad sleep was 4 to 6 hours but not as bad as Pixel reported. Last Pixel 2 sleep reading for me reported as 3 hours 22 minutes. The next day with my new Garmin Venu 3 I had 7 hours 40 minutes and easy to find and read data. No, I'm not doing a side by side review here, I know who sucks and who works, I'm just done, good by Fitbit, I loved you and heartbroken to witness your painful death.

I made that exact change this week. It was a good ride for the last 12 years.

After watching lots of comparisons for different watches by different people online, I too think the Apple watch looks the business especially in the UK as there was a problem with the patent for the sleep oxygen in the US.  I will keep researching though.

My Fitbit broke earlier this year, and I’ve just replaced it to find the sleep tracker redesigned. As I primarily use my Fitbit to track my sleep, I am extremely unhappy with the visuals of the update, and will be returning the device soon because of it. I am open to suggestions for a better visual alternative.

I know of a brand that has the same sleep chart etc as the old one Google for some reason redesigned. Anyway I would recommend it but every time I do in response to people asking for alternatives, my post is removed. I'll try another way:

Look into the brand that has a logo of a well known fruit and if you search and find their page on it you will see their watch and sleep tracking is almost identical to the old sleep tracking layout Fitbit had.

Totally agree. I have a Charge 4 and was considering updating.

With the new interface I cannot access any data anymore.

I do not like, and cannot, use an "App". Prohibiting users to access data online is discrimination against handicapped people.

I miss the old app. The cute animations made me feel happy. Seeing your old Sleep Summary page made me so sad because the new one is not only more annoying to navigate, it feels lifeless. Everything we were afraid of when Google took over is proving to be true.

It’s ridiculous and they do not care.

I'm so glad someone has brought this up. Please bring back the previous sleep data layout. It was so much better! More information, more features and so much easier to read and keep up with! This has always been one of the best features and now it isn't even worth looking at. Very disappointed 😞
