Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

I’m really not happy with the new sleep tracking layout.  It’s become impossible to clearly monitor my sleep patterns now so, it’s pointless to me.  I’m signing out and closing my Fitbit account.  Well done for hours of research finding the best sleep monitoring app for it to be “upgraded” to a basic, unreadable one. Bye 👋

Totally dislike the new sleep ap. a downgrade, hard to read, Can't see sleep cycles related to time. I want the old ap back.

I agree!  I have loved my fitbit, but really used the sleep app.  The new look, which apparently is supposed to be "easier" is weird and ugly.   Couldn't they improve something that was bad instead of ruining something good?  Change for change sake is useless and loses customer loyalty.  Please save upgrades for things that improve experience instead of lessen it.

I agree on the Oura ring but the Garmin sleep graph is better than the new Fitbit graph, though not as good as the old one. Just my opinion.

I cannot find a way to do it. That’s just the problem. We want the old way
back.

The dis-association continues......

Whilst there are some aspects of the whole Fitbit app 'upgrade' I actually quite like and appreciate,  it's the apparent lack of engagement with customers/users that has begun to rankle me more.   The deafening silence created from a lack of acknowledgement, understanding or explanation has effectively morphed into Google's passive-aggressive [middle finger] response.

In the meantime,  I've successfully done as others have and upgraded my downgrade back to pre-destruction times.  That feels good!!  Huge thank you to those who have pointed us in the right direction.....towards the light 🙏

I have been a Fitbit user since they first came out in I think 2006 or 2007 and I pay for premium.  I am seriously thinking of getting a different device.  How can you change the sleep graph to a useless, hard to read graph that offers no value and expect me to pay for premium.  You can't slide the bar over the graph to see what time you might have woken up or give you any of the good data you had before.  How hard would it be to just refresh the app to the old graph while your developers rethink this poorly designed feature?  I am moving on if it continues to give me such a poor user experience or at least cancelling my premium.

Hi,I’m also an I phone user and followed the path suggested by annieb57 it worked easily. You don’t quite get the old app back but have access to at least a few of the old features and looks

Latest update is finally showing some i Benchmark data but needs the %, hours and minutes to compare to the % hours and minutes we slept. Just a pretty bar graph doesn't give enough info, only that we may or may not be close to a benchmark. It's still useless. You need numbers.
Also, the 4 stages graph needs to be reverted back, but with the slider

I really find the new Sleep tracker graphics VERY unclear & unhelpful. It’s too fussy & not a quick, clear read. Please change it back ( not sure why it was changed anyway.. it was fine)

The new sleep timeline is awful. It is much more confusing to use and it does not give as much information as it use too. I specifically bought a Fitbit to track my sleep and honestly with the new sleep tracker timeline it makes it harder to do. I want all the information all right there and laid out just like it previously was.

Please fix the sleep display. It is hard to read. I would also like to see the graph of my respirations.

I especially liked the easy ability to compare my sleep with the benchmark on a daily basis.  I think that is gone now too.

It’s not gone. If you look below where the graph is, there is a tab for sleep stages and one for benchmark. I’m actually getting accustomed to the new app. Yes, I didn’t like it at first, but I’m getting used to it. Everything is there, yes, you have to search for it, but it’s there![image0.png]

Thanks for the feedback on the Garmin Venu Sq 2. I have been considering
the same model and you have made my mind up for me.
I have been having a nostalgic afternoon reminiscing over my 8 Fitbits over
11 years and I finally thought I had found the one with the Versa 4 with a
9 day battery life even though it didn't have the snore report. 4 of these
8 Fitbits were replacements after straps broke off, one exploded in a
heatwave and one just died but the one thing that sustained me was the
app. It was brilliant and I even managed to adapt to the last hateful
change in September 2023 but when I lost my family of sleep hedgehogs it
just finished me off.

RIP Fitbit.

Just had an email from Fitbit to ask about my experience with Customer service.  I replied poor in every way. Told them of over 1200 replies to what we all think of new update from RebeccaFitbit  and no response.  Also over 1900 votes on this forum. Told them it was terrible Customer Support Service.

I totally agree, it is a horrible format, difficult to read, looks old fashioned archaic and really does not make sense. The sleep part of Fitbit is important to me this is off putting and very disappointing 😞

Can you direct me to the post that explains how to do this? I have searched and can't find it. Thanks!

I can no longer view the exact time of sleep stages in my sleep timeline. For example, I used to be able to tap a section labeled as "awake" and it would tell me, "3:24 am - 3:30 am," thus telling me exactly when I was awake. Please add this feature back.

The newest update really is awful, please do something to fix it.

I completely agree, no longer worth the Premium Membership fee. Would have been nice to know this was coming and for user feedback to be sought. Absolutely awful

The new graph is much harder to read than the old graph. Please at least change the font and enlarge it to make this more readable. I have never seen an update from a major company that looked like it took several steps backward. This reminds me of websites from 30 years ago in the early days of the internet. What a major disappointment!
