OK, good news. I finally got my. Messaging to work on my Fitbit with my Windows Phone. But. The call still don’t work, so maybe that’s something yet to come. I had to go in and turn on the notifications. Through the Fitbit app.

I am running a Lumia 950XL with a Fitbit Blaze. My phone is on the Windows Insider fast track program and was recently updated to Windows Mobile 10.0.15222.0 this morning. The fitbit app has been updated 2x since the release of the notifications beta to version 2.22.1110.0

Despite toggling the Notifications setting on my Fitbit & my app, switching my default SMS app from Messaging to Skype, I am still unable to get any notifications working. The test notification option in the Fitbit app does not send any notifications to my Fitbit.

Is anyone with this same device configuration receiving the same issue?

Microsoft needed to update the Bluetooth plumbing which they did and now
Fitbit is dragging their feet. They think not providing and update or an
answer is cool but as soon as I have an alternative, I'm gone.

please fix the text and phone call alerts on my charge 2 the windows app yelled me it is setup and sends the message to my charge 2 but none of my calls or texts come through. That was one reason I chose this device very disappointed 😞

Yir was hoping for the notification to work with the creators update. But still there is nothing than a beta.

They do work. Ensure you're Bluetooth is on and the Fitbit app is running.
Also confirm you are running the latest Insider Build of Windows 10 Mobile

Does someone know how to get the latest Insider build.  I cannot get the notifications to work on my Lumia 735. I'm setup on the fast ring, but my latest Windows build is 15063,  and not the version 15216 where notifications are suppose to work, or at least in beta.  I'm very prepared to test for the Beta program.

Well, I have got the windows developer thingy, on my Lumia 640, with Win10 mobile, bought a new charge 2 since my HR fell apart in 10 months, and it still will not do text and call notifications. I give up, Might use our consumer protection law to get redress,

This is an excellent suggestion! I bet a lot of Windows user will be happy to have that option, we're looking forward to have more options for Windows phones so they can enjoy new ways to use Fitbit trackers! Thank you for your participation and sharing your comment.

Please add notifications for Windows phone. I expected the Fitbit would have notifications when I bought it. Now I wish that I had gone with the MS Band.

Still no notifications for Windows Phone?  I do not have the windows insider.  I have had a Blaze and Microsoft 950XL for over a year in hopes that notifications would magically appear on my Blaze one day.  When?

I think you misunderstand the root cause. The problem exists with an issue
with the Bluetooth Server on Windows 10 Mobile. This is the standard by
which all wearables communicate and Microsoft botched it. They have since
fixed it in Insider Builds and Fitbit has released several patches which
have enabled notification. I use it everyday and it works fine. Your
choices are to either update to an insider build or wait until Microsoft
releases an official update to Windows 10 Mobile. Thanks

Hi all, I'm happy to say that this has been released for Windows 10. There are not currently plans to release this for prior versions. Thanks for sharing your feedback.

Lizfitbit,

I just got the Blaze fitbit yesterday 11-04-2017and after doing the setup and syncing realized that I don't get the notifications i.e, text, calendar etc. on my Windows 10 Mobile Lumia 950XL.  Your 11/03/2017 comment suggests that this has been fixed now.  Is that correct?  Also, I can't find any of the alternate watch faces on the fitbit or through the app. Is that related to the same issue. I'm not very technical and I couldn't find anything on your website to lead me to the watch faces.

Thanks for your time

Lorie

Thank you for your reply. As I said I’m not very technical so I’m reluctant to do the Insider thing. Even Microsoft warns you not to put it on your primary phone. Liz Fitbit made it sound like it has been resolved without my going to the insider program.
