Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

Zither 22 a floor challenge is pointless sorry for being rude... Floors get counted in car going uphill. I live in a bungalow and work in one story building but get floors added. They can also be added if walking against wind on flat surface... So basically the floor count is not ar all accurate. In my opinion removing the floor count would be better as it's a complete pointless figure

Ok...So I get a notification everytime someone posts to this topic.  Clearly tons and tons and tons of people are asking for very similar, pretty simple metrics being added to the fibit app.  It says that this is being reviewed by moderator.  I even went back to see others and these kinds of requests have been pouring in for a long long long time now.  Yet Fitbit is doing NOTHING about it.  Why are we posting and continuing to ask if Fitbit has no interest in really hearing us out.  I see a number of new products(hardware) on the makret, yet no improvements on the app.

I am not it is worth having this board asking for feedback guys.

There are a lot of posts in the Feature Request section. What the community
need from fitbit is some transparency about how these feature request are
dealt with. Do they get prioritised based on number of similar request for
example? Cherry picked according to some other criteria or simply ignored.
Fitbit need to do something to let the community know that they are not
wasting their time giving invaluable feedback!

Is there any way u guys could be able to add more to the challenges then ten people I got a lot of friends who want to challenge but once it reaches ten its done then I have to start other challenge to add them

Yes, I agree with SmartWalker. Allowing custom challenges is the best answer IMO.

How about adding a select the date option for challenges instead of choosing just start today or start tomorrow? Why not allow users to enter a date within a week or so so that we can plan ahead?

I think custom challenges would be great! A progress bar/symbol would also allow you to see your progress at a glance.

 

Would also be beneficial to have the option for your friends to see what challenge you have set yourself so they can support you on your challenge and you can support them (as some of my friends can't commit to the 10k daily average hence we don't do group goals).

I would love custom challenges! More things like walk across your state or reach 10000 steps 4 days in a row. The challenges are good but a little more fun to them would be great!

Hi there,

 

I have recently started using fitbit and is finding it hard to use challenges with my friends.

As I live in the UAE, and here in the UAE our week starts on Sunday so the weekday challenge should be Sunday to Thursday and weekend challenge on friday and saturday!

Please up the limits on challenges why can we only have 10 people in a challenge. I have more than 10 co-workers and the challenge feel makes it better Also please up the number of challenges we can be in from 5 !

The most frustrating thing about the '5 active challenges per user' limit is that 'active challenges' includes challenges that you've joined bu haven't started yet and also challenges that have finished but are awaiting sync.

 

This causes people to quit completed challenges before the result is known so that they can join new ones.  This can't be right.

It would be fun for users to design and label challenges ourselves. Such as a 15 minute challenge. Named "I'm Gonna Beat Your *** In the Next 15 Minutes." Lol

I would like the option to be able to choose what day of the week to start the challenge on. For example where I live my workweek begins on Sunday and ends on Thursday. Then my weekend is Friday and Saturday.

We really do need more challenges  , active minuets, floors climed , calories burned 

It helps keep its fun and exciting and even be able to create your own maybe have a choice of 2 like active min and floors climbed together to make it harder
