It would be nice to have different types of challenges that aren't solely based on getting our steps in.
For instance, the number of active minutes in a day, loss challenge, calories, water consumption. Some activities don't count steps such as cycling, skiing or skateboard. I would like to be able to compete against my friends while doing other activities.

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

Hi everyone!!!
Dear Fitbit,
it would be really nice if you could implement more functional sleep analysis. I ask/suggest/offer you to have a look at really interesting app (Sleep Cycle). Sleep cycle
I am sure that a lot of Fitbit users would appreciate this kind of sleep information. Here you can see some examples but there is much more in it.
I am sure this kind of functionality would bring you more customers and more fun to Fitbit users. Thank you!!!
PS. I am really surprised you have not done it yet

We (my Fitbit friends) would like to increase the challenge numbers to include more than 10 people. Our group includes way more than 10 who are active and want play

There should be a larger variety of challenges that could be long like a month long or short like a couple of hours and there should be rewards for challenges you participate in with friends/family like gift cards for a variety of stores

I would love to have a challenge where people's goal is to win their next stepping badge.I thing that would really make people move!

When your group of friends in a challenge all have different step goals it can actually be demotivating to constantly be losing out if you don't have the capacity to compete. Why not have a challenge where the group commits to reach a high step goals of, say, 100,000 in a week. Everyone joins in to try and do a bit. Everyone contributes that which they can manage.

I've been watching the sleep app, and it has been helping. But last night, no idea why I woke at 2 am, just felt very strange. Went to the dashboard and realized while I could check the sleep, there was nothing that matched breathing with the sleep. If there was a respiration app, or a corresponding line with breathing while asleep over the daily sleep graph, it might help. I never think I have apnea, but last night was weird enough that I would like to have double checked so I know Doctor or No Doctor. (Versa)

I already use Calm app for meditation and would like to sync that app with Fitbit or have Fitbit allow us to manually track when we meditate.

I'd like to know how I'm doing over time. Given you have all of my data for steps, calories, sleep, activity etc would it be possible to give me insight on how I'm doing (e.g. you're getting less sleep than you used to a year ago; your resting heart rate has been stable for the past year).

It would be great if Fitbit added a strain or recovery score based on HRV or RHR, or workout HR recovery. .Whoop & the Oura Ring both have it. A body temp sensor would be great too!
Thanks!

I'd like to be able to see the sleep efficiency number, currently only viewable on the desktop, on my mobile app. I consider this to be the most useful metric when it comes to my sleep each night and would love for it to be included in the app for night to night comparison. Thanks!

It would be great to see a tile on the Fitbit app dashboard that allows us to create and track different positive/negative habits (e.g., take pills, don’t smoke, skip take-out, read, etc.) to help us keep track and encourage us to develop healthy habits. You could send out reminders via the Ionic and Versa, allow us to create custom habits that we’re trying to keep or break, you could even throw in some badges for certain numbers of consecutive days. I know there are already existing apps that do this, but if Fitbit is serious about making their product the go-to for whole health, this would be a great feature.

Hello Fitbit team and user
I love my Charge 2 but there are two things I wish they could improve
-sleeo anaylsis: the app tracks your results how about it gives you suggestion on how many hours should you sleep based on your overall daily activities and intensity of exercise
- I use the rowing machine and stairclimber alot but I have to enter it manually via the app how about adding it to Charge 2 instead
Regards
Aisha

I am currently using an app called Sleep as Android along with a Garmin watch. It would be really great if Fitbit could integrate the sound (snoring mainly) to correlate with the new (unreleased) sleep apnea analysis of the Ionic. You'd have movement, heart rate, SPO2 and sound.

I was wondering if anyone else was interested in having a way to track mindfulness, meditation, or relaxation exercises in the Fitbit app?? I know there’s an app in the ionic watch for doing relaxation, but there’s no way to track progress or anything as a feature in the phone dashboard app? I would really be interested in that being added! Doesn’t seem like it would be too difficult to add considering it’s already an activity to do as part of the watch, just need a way to log it and keep track/record of mindfulness moments for reflecting on my progress!?! Any other votes for such a feature???

Fitbit needs pregnancy specific workouts. There are many exercises that aren't safe or reccommend during pregnancy so there needs to be workouts designed to keep pregnant women safe.

This would be a very easy add to the app. I use my fitbit to mainly track resting heart rate with training as it doesn't record so well on the bike. I find the resting heart rate that fitbit reports doesn't fluctuate as much as it should. I have found by looking at my daily heart rate graphs, that the average heart rate I have while sleeping (eye-balled) is a better indicator of recovery status, or how fresh I am feeling, compared to fitbits reported resting heart rate. Fitbit already marks the times while asleep, and it also has the heart rate data, so it's simply a matter of cropping that section of data and reporting the average. As fitbit is trying to cater to those trying to push their bodies, this would help would be a valuable metric to many so they can train without injuring themselves or overtraining. I would like to see the average heart rate while sleeping, but for the average user who doesn't know what all the numbers mean, it provides fitbit a chance to develop a flashy "freshness score" that would tell people how ready they are to take on the day. This would be affected by stress and exercise, so it would be valuable to everyone.

I often want to share the information my fitbit records with my medical practitioners but the data exports make it very difficult for data interpretation. Please design reports we can share with them to show things like how activity levels affect sleep and anything else which the data recorded might be able to help them to recognise or diagnose any health issues.

I think it would be great if users could create custom adventures, maybe use GPS data to verify the locations of photos. Custom adventures could be private, friends only, or shareable, and popular adventures could be reviewed and added to the offered adventure list.
It would also be great if users could create custom challenges, for those of us who don't have steps as their main goal (sleep/distance/etc).
I'd also like to see an easier way of incorporating adventure races and challenges into groups, so that everyone in a group can participate. Group admins could have a setting to control whether anyone can challenge the group or only admins. And as a side note, when are custom groups going to be added to the app?! It's impossible to make a public group available on the app, which is extremely limiting.

I would love to have a training program on my fitbit that will train you to start running or even further.Like couch to 5k,couch to 10k, half marathon trainer, and marathon trainer.Having these apps implicated in the fitbit would give fitbit users a reason to run and to keep running further. I think the fitbit should vibrate to let us know when to run, walk or when our training is over.

I would like to see something to the effect that Basis or Jawbone does with the actionable insights or coaching on things. It could be simple reminders, tips or anything. I think with the amount of users inputting data the machine learning aspect is huge.

Addition of weights were made before, but here requesting specifically addition of Kettlebell workouts to FitBit Coach. Reason being Kettlebells are very portable/accessible/easily used from home, and are great as an all-round fitness accessory , addressing elements of conditioning, strength, cardio, power, mobility.

Love the daily goal challenge bcause I can participate fairly with all friends regardless of current fitness levels. I'd love to have a few more setup this way available in the native app

we all take part in events where we have no control over the start time, it would've good if we could customise when the 24hr clock starts for the day. For example I took part in the London to Brighton overnight walk, my start time was 7.45, on the sat I walked approx 90,000 steps and on the sunday I walked 74,000 steps, if I had been able to set my start time as 7.45, I would have got my 100,000 step in a day badge.
