For Feature Suggestions we can track progress to see where in the process the Feature suggestion is pending. Would be good to have the same for issues/defects raised through the forums.
could be something like:
- New Issue : Collecting Data
- New Issue: Analysis by development team
- Issue Rejected: not an issue ; works as designed
- Issue Accepted: Solution Design
- Issue Accepted: Solution in progress
- Issue Resolved: Integrating in FWU
- Issue Resolved: Beta Testing
- Issue Resolved: Released

Moderators are trying their best to manage suggestions here, but not all users come here, instead they use the app. Moderators could form a group in the app where the collective consolidated suggestions could be posted by moderators without duplicates to reach a broader Fitbit audience for voting. This would also make it easier for users to see the progress and future features Fitbit is working on.

The Fitbit user community survey needs fields where users can comment. The survey is poorly written and appears to be designed to provide a desired result.

Use an icon, such as a red cross, to allow users to post a help request from the app. The user could allow the app to take & share a screenshot from their mobile device, or gallery, to show the problem. This could also be done using the sharing functionality, but the sharing would have to be added to other app/dashboard tiles/pages.

There should be a page with discontinued items so it's easier to know if I/users need to purchase a different model/watch, instead of thinking it won't charge anymore or the updates failed.

Fitbit's feature suggestion is broken, or the triage and prioritization process ineffective. Currently many suggested features have received high praise (examples where legal or IP protection are not a concern - 1, 2 3, 4, 5), but have not been prioritized over other features like Bitmoji integration are developed without any communicated interest.
Fitbit community members have been asking to have a more open SDK to fill in the gaps while Fitbit pursues corporate agreements, or new products. Currently users of Fitbit products don't have visibility to the rollout of features which may lead them to look elsewhere when features (5) that many low end trackers have, or were advertised by fitbit (1) are not available.
Fitbit should either publish or share a roadmap of features, break out statuses for features that will not be implemented such as "not planned for 2019" (or 20XX), or open up the SDK similar to what Pebble had done prior to it's acquisition. Doing any of the above suggestions would give insight to interested users about what to expect or when, slow down requests or provide a more complete reason to why a feature was not or is not being pursued by Fitbit, or allow the community to fill in the gaps that Fitbit is not meeting.

Fitbit is currently going on this trend, where companies, instead of telling their users what actually changed in an update, just tell them "mmh, yes, we did some BUG FIXES and IMPROVEMENTS". This is quite upsetting, because you don't know what kind of Pandora's Box you send onto your tracker as a firmware update.
I suggest to:
Retroactively provide proper changelogs for the last two Charge 3 updates that have just been labelled as
"This release includes bug fixes and improvements."
Continue to provide proper changelogs in the future.
As a software developer, I am a strong believer in the need for users to know their software is doing - especially when that piece of software is what could make or break a device that launched for $149.95, which is the price a lot of people have purchased it for.

I think it would be nice to have access to the community sections from the mobile app. I use my iPhone to access Fitbit far more than I use my laptop and it would be great to be able to participate in the community features from the app.

Please give the Activity Group forums the same full-featured editor that is used here in the Help and Discussions forums: emoticons, imbedding photos and videos, hyperlinks, etc, and the ability to re-edit after posting.

I had to return my Fitbit for a replacement. The promised timeframes have come and gone without hearing anything. I cannot reach the shipping department in any way (chat, phone, etc), until a chat agent sends an email. Then I can only reach by replying to that email. This is a failure in customer service. The department responsible (shipping) for replacements needs to be reachable when there is a failure. Chat agent told me to leave this feedback here. Doesn't really fit into a label either.

I am trying to comment and respond to a prior about a feature request, and fitbit apparently shut down the discussion (I can't comment). Based on my own testing, I do not believe the Ionic is doing what they said it is doing, unless it is a recent fix. Furthermore, my e-mail got kicked back (it said click here to respond) …

Would like to be able to filter out and see only ideas that have been posted for a product of my choice. on the "Improve Our Community" page. Right now I have to scroll through and find the ones relevant to my product.

When posting an idea or other, the labels section on the right does not have "Blaze" as a "Label" which is required to be chosen..
Please update the "labels" section and include "Blaze" as a label. This should have been done the moment the blaze became public knowledge.
please vote for this topic so it gets some attention and fixed

I know the community is brand new, and we do have moderators here, but they don't seem very active in the help forums. It would be nice to have at least one "official" person from fitbit answering technical support and other questions, like how to get the Aria working, tips for wearing the Force properly, and other questions that only Fitbit themselves could answer, such as https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Force/Firmware-update/m-p/10549 or https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Any-plan-to-support-old-Android-device-like-my-LG-G-Pro/m-p/6597 or https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Force/anyone-else-want-a-pink-or-green-force/m-p/7975

I just wanted to give a hearty shout-out for the features of the new community forums!
I think the usability will be vastly superior to the old forums. Numerous things about creating topics or replies stand out as being a huge improvement. For staters:
Ability to go back and edit a message (I don't always proof-read...)
Auto-save and option to reload when you accidentally have browser leave page (THANK-YOU!)
Ability to do actual working links to other URLs (not everyone is good and cut & paste of URLs)
Ability to embed images (a picture can be worth a thousand words)
Simple to use rich-text features for increasing readability
I can't tell you how many times I had started a reply in the old forums and even had several paragraphs explaining something only to accidentally have the backspace key drop me back a page in the browser and lose everything. Sometimes I didn't bother to redo it, either because I was out of time or just too frustrated. The auto-save and option to reload is absoutely HUGE in my opinion!
And this is just in the entry / editing of messages. It does not even address all the improvements in displaying topics. For anyone who has not yet done so, check out the myriad of preferences you can select under Settings at the top of this page.
I just had to try out the URL link.

As title. It's really weird that the moderators here feel it necessary to reword just about every suggestion made. And it seems they frequently do it poorly, using dubious grammar, or failing to pay much attention to what the post says.

I think giving people to ability to delete just their own posts and responses from both the Forum and discussion boards would be helpful. I understand you can edit and you can ask the board moderator to delete for you, but I would love the ability to be able to do it myself.

There seem to be a ton of good ideas related to health on these boards, but when i go to under consideration its all about banks. Why is health and fitness the second priority to improving these interfaces and making simple changes like adding macros or integrating with headspace.
