With the new Family Account it would be great if kids could now also be added to the Aria scales to get their weight automatically updated.

I'd like to be able to choose body fat % rather than weight (currently have to choose between lose, maintain, or gain weight). I'm sure that there are others like me that don't have a lot of weight to lose, are building muscle and would rather have a body fat % goal. Frankly I could care less about my actual weight.

The Aria 2, which is now discovered tinued, offered the function of displaying % body fat. The newer model replacement the Aria Air displays BMI, which is a simple height to weight ratio. This seems like a serious technological step down. In the case of weightlifters, body fat % is a much better indicater of overall health than BMI. Please add.

Much cheaper scales has those features. I think Aria 2 definitely should measure it also. At least a water measurement.

I'm sure this horse has been beaten dead, but I don't want to have to enable 802.11b or g on my wi-fi router. That's old tech and causes interference issues with the other residences immediately around us. 802.11 or even better, 802.11ac wireless for the Aria please, then I'll consider it!

You should add a feature to the Aria where people can trigger the recalibration process by tapping the scale before stepping on. The reason this is needed is a lot of people can't, or won't, leave the scale sitting out in the same spot and it gets leaned up against a wall or put away in a cabinet after each use. Because of the this the tare/zero setting from the prior weigh-in is lost, but the Aria isn't smart enough to detect that and so it reports their weight, and body fat %, incorrectly for one or more weigh-ins. By adding a simple tap before stepping on to trigger the recalibration, "Sensing", "Step off", "Thinking" process, it would allow people that move the Aria to tell the Aria that it needs to recalibrate itself.
Of course, another option is to make the Aria smart enough to do it itself, but that seems to be a problem. It appears, and probably rightly so, that your engineers found that you get the best calibration by having the persons full weight on the scale prior to zeroing it hence the "Sensing", "Step off", "Thinking" process. Once that has been done it displays the weight as soon as you step on, and doesn't want to "change" that once you step off and it notices that it was wrong.
The last option would be to always go through the calibration process, meaning it never shows a weight until after you have stepped off. This would make the weigh-in process take a little longer but I think would provide more accurate and consistent results. (This could even be an option someone could enable in their scale settings.) My cat frequently weighs himself on my scale. I see guest 13 pounds. It would be cool for it to create a pet profile automatically instead of just guest. If i create a profile for him then he'll need an account and I can't see it. If it's done automatically then i can see it in my app.

Hi My current goal is to reduce body fat. I am unsure how this will affect my weight (and this does not bother me) - therefore I think it would be useful to have the option to change whether you show a target weight or target body fat percentage on the home screen widget.

It woul be great to have directly on the scale the information about how much you lost / gain since the last time it was measured. It would avoid to check the app to see if the trend is positive / negative. Vincnet

When we view weight online, we get weight like 12 St 4.4 Lb. However, it is not the same display on Aria. Aria should display the same weight that is displayed online.

In a future firmware update would it be possible to have the Aria scale NOT set to a single set of units (pounds, kilograms, or stone) but instead have it measure the weight and body fat, recognize the user, and only THEN display in the preferred units as set by each user? My wife is European and I'm North American, so one or the other of us is always having to convert depending on who last went in and changed the settings. Of course there could / would have to be a default set of units for displaying the "guest" weight of someone unrecognized, but I'd be fine with the screen being blank an extra few seconds before my info popped up if I was going to get info that actually made sense to me, and vice versa for my wife.

Is there a possibility to make an aria that goes higher than 350 pounds? I was bummed when I saw the weight limit on it. This is for people to lose weight and stay fit right? So what about the ones who started extremely heavy like myself? I started at 606 and down to 427 and STILL can't get the aria to track my weight loss! make one with a higher weight limit!!

Please add special character support for wifi passwords to Aria. I should not have to simplfy my password and risk an unwanted exposure to my wireless network becaue I can't use # or $ or * or anything other than an alpha numeric character in my password. All of the internet security experts recommend using special characters to strengthen your passwords.

The Aria scale used to sync up with Weight Watchers (which was why I purchased it in the first place), but every since WW revamped their app, it no longer syncs. There is a place to enter Aria as a device, but it will not connect with Fitbit Aria data. Please please add this back! It was such a fabulous feature and benefits both products!

Why can't I share my weight reading ONLY with those that use my scale?
The only sharing options for my Aria is "everyone," "friends," or "no one." Surely I can't be the first person that ONLY wants to share it with the people in my house that use the same scale?
Fix this please?

It is not possible to register for Fitbit with a newer type of domain. Please fix the website registration code for email validation. Over the last years, ICANN (the official organization taking care of many global internet standards) has handed out new TLD's like .online, .sport, .shop, .home, etc. None of these are currently accepted by the registration web page.

For the Aria Scales please add support for unicode characters in SSID names. More specifically, I cannot connect my Aria to any wifi with an emoji in it. The current network requirements: 802.11b frequency setting. WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security. Automatic (DHCP) IP setup (static IP configuration are not supported). Your SSID and password should only contain alphanumeric characters (e.g. A-Z, 0-9). Thanks

I just purchased the Aria 2 because my original Aria stopped connecting to my WiFi. The only thing I am unhappy with on the Aria 2 is that you have to choose an icon and can’t use your initials to identify yourself on the scale. It would be great if you could choose either an icon or your initials for identification.

I love my Aria -- but I don't love having to go through the entire set-up process again each time I change the batteries! Maybe if you only have one computer set-up is no big deal, but because my iphone, mac mini, and macbook are all connected setting up the Fitbit scale again takes a long time....so long that after 30 minutes, I decided to just enter my weight manually. And yes, I read the post that said that if you cnanged the batteries before they went dead you wouldn't need to go through the whole setup process again -- but that isn't always possible, especially since my Aria anyway turns itself on randomly and when I came home from a trip recently, the batteries were dead. And a general comment: I have been using Fitbit for years, and the very first products worked more reliably and were faster to set up than the later ones.

Aria can track all your children growth. It could be perfect for a regular family too if you can add all your children growth and export. This is a new field for marketing, if you program that future into the settings.
I bought Aria with this in mind, not only for my tracking but for all my children, I have 5.

I am sick of trying to setup my Aria, it continues to say "Guest" and it's irritating. Why is this even the default? Get rid of it, it's annoying and not helping. The solution, enter my weight 5 times manually. I just bought a desktop, I entered my name ONCE. I got a cell phone, I entered my name ONCE. Didn't take 5 days to establish it's me.

It would be helpful to me if the Aria 2 scale recorded date day and time. My schedule is crazy, so hard to weigh myself at the same time every day. Also may want to weigh myself more than once a day. Thanks.

Please! Fix this issue! Because I can’t delete weight history and am using the Aria 2 scale, the Fitbit app thinks my wife and I are the same person and neither of us can see our progress. I deleted every individual weight log but it still shows weights. Help!
