Enable Celsius units on weather app without having to change distance to kilometers Ionic/Versa

Currently the ionic will only  display Celsius units when the distance unit is in 'kilometres'. It would be great if the ionic weather app displayed Celsius units regardless of the distance unit selected .... E.g, miles .

I agree, this absolutely needs splitting out. I am useless at understanding both Fahrenheit and Kilometers so definitely need to be able to see Celsius and miles. It would just make sense to have the option to customise each different unit.

just bought a new Versa 🙂 very happy with it after finnaly getting weather app working ...

Now like most ppl i use Miles and Celsius for my units... Please make a option to swap temps with out changes length units.

I consider this a bug not a feature request. Outside of the US we all use Celsius for temperature. But many countries still use miles for road use.

It really really needs to be done as it makes the weather app useless for me. Lazy and ignorant programmers??

Really annoyed that fitbit still dragging their feet with this SIMPLE bit of basic programming. They just cant be bothered! I'm sick of voting for stuff on here, because I have noticed it's very rare anything that has been suggested gets done.

Would be great to be able to set the temperature units separately. Im loving my versa but find it a pain that the weather has to be in farenheit to allow me to have distance in miles - just dont have a clue what the temperature is!! Please add a new setting so that temperature units can be set separately.

I can’t believe Fitbit still have done nothing about this, such an easy fix. I feel that they don’t care about us once the watch is bought.

What a joke, taken best part of 2 hours to get the latest update install with a couple of false starts including a “have I bricked my watch” only to find Fitbit still haven’t sorted this out yet.

Seriously thinking about putting the dam bed watch on eBay and cutting my loses. Never had any issues with my Samsung watch like I have with this watch!

Fitbit I’m not a happy camper and you should stop selling stuff that frankly isn’t really any good if you live outside the US.

I have just bought a Versa and generally pleased with it except that I want to see distances in miles and temperatures in DegC!

this is very frustrating and can’t be that big an issue to fix

come in Fitbit get this sorted please!

Totally agree this feature is essential outside the US where Celsius and miles are quite a normal combination.

But this request has been going on for months now with no response or a release date for this change.

I come from the days of English measurements in Canada so I like my distance in miles.  But, Celsius is used exclusively here so, like the previous user, I have no real idea of how hot or cold Fahrenheit temperatures are.  It would be nice if the features are selected separately.  Seems really simple to do.  Probably isn't.

I am based in the UK and use miles for distance and Celsius for temperature.  The weather app on the Ionic is completely useless in it's current state, need to be able to change temperature units without changing distance units.

Couldn’t agree more.... why bring out these devices for everyone worldwide to use if your not going to make it so everyone can understand. Also why provide all these new features on the Versa if people with apple phones can’t use them ie text messaging. I’m so annoyed that I can’t reply to text like android users, you can’t expect people to be happy when they’ve paid all that money for it and not be able to use all the features.
