Garmin Connect Integration / Sync

My wife has a charge hr 2 and is enjoying being part of the Fitbit community with the daily step challenges.

I have a garmin fenix due to its multi sport functionality for triathlon etc. However I'd love to get involved with the challenges.

Please fitbit allow us garmin users to sync our daily activity with you...from what I can see garmin allows you to sync the other way round.

Garmin Connect + FitDataSync = BAD!!!! still doesn't work.

I refuse to wear both when my Garmin can do everything a Fitbit can do plus more from triathlon training to golf.

FitBit is only to take part in my company challenges, good news is at least I can manually enter in information. The BAD news is I cant take part in the challenges because when you manually enter in information it doesn't upload into the challenges.

I mostly agree with you. I have a 5 year old Garmin Forerunner watch and it
still works like new.

I have Charge 2, Prior to that I had a Blaze, Charge HR, Force. I have been a member of the Fitbit community for some time. I have recently switched to Garmin so I can get more information from my runs and not have to run with my phone since it has a built in GPS instead of a connected GPS. I use my Garmin almost exclusively at this point as a fitness tracker and as a running watch. I do not want to have to wear two devices. I currently carry the charge display portion in my pocket so I can get data into fitbit and continue to use the challenges however I do not carry it when I am running for fear of losing it. Please allow Garmin to connect to fitbit and transfer step data, exercise data, and sleep data if possible. I would be willing to pay for the service as a premium member if the connection could be made between Garmin and Fitbit.

I'd buy more fitbit products if I could seamlessly sync between brands. Until fitbit offers showerproof for all products, I will still have to support some Garmin items

Yep, I'd pay for this feature too. I changed over from fitbit and want to maintain my competition circle. This potentially keeps Garmin in the running for my next update

I have a Garmin Fenix 3 and would like an app that transfers my all day step count to my FitBit profile so I can be int eh same communiyt as friends and family who are still using FitBits.

YES! 4 years ago when Fitbit first came out, you were able to sync Garmin with it. But it has since been removed and would definitely like to see this feature reintroduced again.

Thanks so much for this. But its baffling.. That after 4 years! Why is FITBIT still refusing this? It's cos we are still buying their Products! What's the big deal in this simple synchronization? People will still buy Fitbit and be happy it works in so many ways. I will still buy Fitbit, if I know, I can use it either way. It so simple, It's like using  Rolex today and a Michael Kors tomorrow. But we have to worry about data. Sigh!

I love Fitbit but I'm seriously considering leaving it. Tough I don't want to miss my Fitbit friends. But I will always meet some new ones too on Garmin.

Agree, Would be very nice (fitbit broke, and got a garmin device because of the integrated gps, smart-funtions and is water resistant. 

But the fun is gone without the Step-challenges.... PLEASE FITBIT (and Garmin of course), Connect me with my family again 😉

Fiancee and I both have Garmins for step tracking and won an Aria scale in a step challenge. I'd really love to use it but we won't be ditching our trackers just to do so. If you want our data you should make the weight and BF available to sync with Garmin Connect.

I absolutely agree.  I have used a fitbit Blaze for the past year and love it!  However, I needed a bit more functionality for backcountry trail running, and have purchased a Garmin for this purpose.  I plan to use my blaze during day-to-day activity (and to track sleep - I love the newly developed fitbit sleep tracking!), but would like my Garmin workouts to show up in my fitbit app as well.

My main exercise i MTB and Fitbit has no bike computer, therefore I use a Garmin Edge 25 for biking. For general activity tracking I much prefer Fitbit. 

Garmin Connect allows 3rd party integration and data export. Please let me sync my Garmin data to Fitbit service for a unified experience.

It will greatly increase the chance of me buying new Fitbit devices in the future.

My work uses Fitbit data for our "healthy rewards" incentives so I wear a Fitbit. But I'm also an avid runner and love my garmin watch. I feel silly wearing both devices but it's the only way for me to participate in my companys program and wear the watch I want to wear. Please allow Garmin to sync!

Seriously Fitbit, how about an update on this. Are you guys even considering this? Surely the customer base is there for you guys. I upgraded to Garmin and still own Aria scales.   Looks like I'll be tossing them and getting a full kit out from Garmin. You're blocking yourself out of potential future markets by ignoring users of smart devices.

Another vote for "Yes". My Charge HR did not survive a snorkeling trip last month - I've bought a Garmin because it was water resistant.My family and friends are on Fitbit. Please enable me to connect up to my FitBit community for challenges and bragging rights!

I like my garmin for running activities with a hr chest band but it is gigantic, and my fitbit (no hr) for everyday step, sleep, and weight tracking.  Please let the data integrate!
