Integrate with Apple Watch

The options available for wearing your FitBit with business casual clothing is extremely limited. Please partner with Apple & allow us to use the Apple Watch to track our steps for a premium subscription. I love the APP & currently proudly wear my flex daily, but would really like the option available when the Apple Watch is released.

Yes! Please add support for the Apple Watch! I've been a Apple Watch user for nearly 4 months now and I been looking at ways to have my Apple Watch to be paired with FitBit, but it only logs in as activities. I recently found that you can use your phone as it, and I was happy because I wanted to compete with friends now. I checked today with my Apple Watch and FitBit, and it wasn't right. So, I looked it up and I found out it doesn't. Can you please add this? It will be great for me to be on the move while my phone is sitting on my bed, or something. Thanks!

I was going to do a new post but I think you basically made my point. I was going to mention how I would pay $30-40 maybe even $50 for Apple watch support. I think it's a great idea and an easy way for fitbit to pickup revenue as more people adopt the iphone.

As of now they have lost me back to the nike+ ecosystem since it supports my watch and the GPS watch I have. I would prefer Fitbit but I'm not giving up my apple watch.

Yes, I would also love this and gladly pay for this integration.

I have been a fitbit user for over 2 years.  I recently purchased Fitbit Charge HRs for my whole family.  I now have an apple watch and would like to continue competing with my Family in competitions, yet Fitbit still does not have a platform for the Apple watch users with Fitbit accounts to participate.

I am eager to participate in these challenges, so please let us know if this option becomes available - hopefully before I give up....

Thank you

I would like an Apple Watch app that I can conveniently look at while exercising to keep track of my steps so I do not have to keep looking in my pants all the time. Looks funny ya know!

I loved the Fitbit app, staying in contact/competition/ motivation with friends. I have downloaded the sync apps but that doesn't allow you to keep in contact with them with your progress.

I love the Fitbit Dashboard and would gladly pay a nice fee to have the Apple watch integrated into the challenges and tracking.

I went so far as to purchase a used FitBit One just to take part in challenges with my friends. I would have gladly given that money directly to FitBit for a reasonable solution to this problem.

In a year or so, lacking proper integration with the Apple Watch will be as foolish as not allowing integration with the iPhone. It is by far the most popular fitness tracker available is going to continue to grow in popularity.

Instead of resisting this, find a way to work with Apple to sync your products together or at the very least, allow integration. Your company is doom3d otherwise.

I am going to add my name to the list of people asking for better integration between the Apple Watch and Fitbit. I just got an Apple Watch for my birthday and found that there is no reliable way to sync the device to Fitbit. I will really miss competing with my "Fitbit Friends" but their numbers have been reducing as they all slowly get Apple Watches anyway. It is only a matter of time that Apple or a clever app developer creates a way for Apple Watch users to compete with each other in daily/weekly challenges. There is an opportunity here for someone to make some money.

You will need to use another platform like Matchup or Under Armour Record for now but hopefully we can all come back to Fitbit once they have completed their integration.

I really miss the Fitbit app still but hopefully one day they will get on board to become just a wellness and fitness platform that can also support other devices.

Fitness should be about commiunity, not exclusion.

While the trackers might lure people in, it is the eco system and community that keeps people coming back.

I understand the reasoning behind restricting the challenges to Fitbit devices. Trackers can sometimes been 500-1000 steps off. To ensure fairness, it makes sense to restrict certain things to FitBit devices.

That being said, most people aren't on here competing to defeat people, but to uplift them. Why not at least have a setting that says "Do you want to allow steps from Apple Watch, Jaw Bone, Nike Fuel etc, to count towards this challenge?"

Give the users the option to determine this.

Why not charge for the iWatch option like its a device or make it part of your premium package. Seems like a no brainier... No overhead on product costs and you retain customers.

I LOVE my Fitbit, and I just recently got an Apple Watch because for work it's just easier when I'm not allowed to have my phone out, and I am currently wearing both my Fitbit and Apple Watch on my arm, as you may understand its VERY annoying but it's the only way I can compete in challenges with my family because the sync solver app doesn't work considering Fitbit changed the limitations and the Apple Watch won't sync with Fitbit app. It's frustration I don't understand how Fitbit can't work something out under contract so that both companies benefit from both products, because unfortunately the Fitbit will be coming off my wrist soon and I hate to see it go after all the fun I have with it!

Hi everyone, this sounds interesting to make compatible the mobile app with other smart watches in the market. Keep voting to make popular this idea!

Thank you for your participation.

Adding my name to request that Fitbit install an Apple Watch integration.  I understand thatthe thought is that it may take away from some of your marketshare in sales however, I believe that those who love the Fitbit trackers are not necessarily the same as those who have purchased the Watch.  Perhaps a survey of your customers may help to determine if there is the potential of loss instead of gain.  And apparently, from this thread and others, you seem to be losing or about to lose the individuals who do have the Apple Watch.  Please consider it and do the right thing for all of your customers.  Thank you for your serious consideration.

Add me to the list. I wear an Apple Watch most of my work days due to the travel app integration it presents.  I own a Charge HR and would upgrade to a Surge HR if true integration existed; I would rather use the fitbit device for workouts; as of now I don't, so my opinion of Fitbit is that I now own an obsolete piece of junk (my Charge HR) since it doesn't work for my life without the true integration.  Please do the integration as requested by your real-life customers & users (and MANY devotees!!).  Thanks.

How can you not integrate with Apple Watch?  It's a no brainer.  How many of us Fitbit users have to support this request for you to make it happen?

I've been with Fitbit since I got the orignial tracker in 2011 and was always telling people about how great the devices and the apps are and always excited for the new devices, especially for one that would monitor heart rate. I have a history of heart issues and this was something high on my wish list. But when Fitbit came out with their first HR monitioring device I was really disappointed and by then rumors of the apple watch had already started and it just didn't make sense to spend money on something I really didn't like and didn't do a whole lot more than the one I already had and wouldn't do as much as the watch.

I eventually decided on the higher priced watch over a new Fitbit. It was more fashionable, did more for me, and tracked my heart rate often. But I was again disappointed that Fitbit would not be integrating with my watch. It will integrate with the movement of my phone, but not my watch? I've also recently learned that Fitbit chose to integrate with Microsoft's HealthVault, but not Apple's HealthKit. Just more disappointment from a company who claimed to want to support all users no matter their device.

I've had my apple watch for a long time now and have tried to stay loyal to Fitbit and wait for them to roll out an integration, but at this point, the only thing still holding me to Fitbit is my Aria scale. So I've started looking for new apps that will sync with my watch and am ready to purchase a new wireless scale. I've also significantly lowered my position on Fitbit with my friends, most of which already have or are considering getting the Apple Watch. It's a very sad day to be giving up on Fitbit, but just as in all relationships, if you're not getting anything out of it, you shouldn't be putting anything into it.

I'm definetly disappointed there is no intergration. As many of others have said it would be fine if it was a paid app. I no longer use fitbit because of this.

Thank you for the low battery alerts on my apple watch! To bad it did it at half a charge rather than the low range.Still thankful it did that last time. It had been more than a week since I charged my FitBit one.

I am so disappointed with Fitbit at this time that they have so many post here requesting to allow apple watch and fitbit integration for the past year and we still can not get the two to intigrate.  I own a Fitbit Surge and a Apple Watch. I switch back and forth as I perfer the fitbit Surge when I workout and if I'm in a competition with other fitbit friends.  It would be great to be able to compete with friends and earn badges if I choose to wear my Apple watch it should intrgrate just like the IPhone Mobiletrack does.   I think you should build an app that does this intregration and charge a fee for the app.  This way you are still making money on all of us fitibt users that dont want to lose the App and the fun competing with friends.
