Integrate with Apple Watch

The options available for wearing your FitBit with business casual clothing is extremely limited. Please partner with Apple & allow us to use the Apple Watch to track our steps for a premium subscription. I love the APP & currently proudly wear my flex daily, but would really like the option available when the Apple Watch is released.

Please, please, please come up with an Apple Watch app for the FitBit.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE my fitbit but use my Apple watch daily for work.  I cannot get used to the scattered health and fitness app that Apple offers (it stinks) so I must wear my watch on one wrist and my FitBit Alta on the other.  I look a bit nutty and would love to get down to just my watch.  I would definitely PAY to get the FitBit app to work with my Apple watch.

Just here echoing my hope for a supported Apple Watch app.  I have been a FitBit user for 3+ and even convinced my husband and son to purchase one so we can compete with one another.  Was recently given an Apple Watch as a gift and miss being able to share, motivate and challenge my friends.  I would gladly pay for an app which allowed me to continue interacting with the community.

I, too, would love to see a Fitbit app for the Apple Watch.

It seems like fit bit and mobile phones are made for each other.  I do not understand and am completely suprised that I cannot utilize my apple watch to provide data to the fitbit application.  I want my windows 10 laptop, by Iphone, and my apple watch to integrate and share data to support my lifestyle.  I just started a new diet, have alot of weight to loose, and thought I had the holy grail of electronics to assist me in my weight loss goals.  Just unbelievable that apple watch and fitbit do not support each other.

I agree with other users. I have already started using the fitbit app less and less due to lack of intergration with the apple watch. I realize that it's difficult to integrate all devices, but the apple watch has become so common. I have tried to do competitions with friends and family but without being able to upload my correct stats, I feel more isolated and have noticed that I am less active. To truly stick to the mission statement of your device and community, I strongly urge you to create a better integration plan - and quickly!

Please make a FitBit app for Apple Watch where I can continure to compete with my groups of FitBit users.  I would even pay for the app.  Thank you.

Please add me to the list of users that is pleading for an Apple Watch app and integration.  I use my Apple Watch during the day because it is much better for run tracking, and I wear the fitbit at night to track sleep.  It is a perfect combination if only I could track the steps from my Apple Watch.  I, like so many others, would be willing to pay an annual fee for the service.  Please stop pretending that the Apple Watch doesnt exist.

Apple Watch integration please. I've owned three Fitbit devices (the last being the only one that hasn't died or had to be replaced because of the band tearing) and love the challenges with friends through the app. I received an Apple Watch as a gift and would love to continue the challenges. As other have said before, I would pay a subscription fee to be able to continue.

Please allow us to join fitbit challenges by using Apple Watch. I have purchased a Fitbit charge HR in the past, and have given another as a gift. I am not able to wear the charge due to skin irritation and also prefer the Apple Watch for many reasons, one of them because of comfort and water resistance. Please consider an app for the Apple Watch.

I am yet another person that wants Apple Watch integration with Fitbit app. Please do this!!!!  I want to be able to use your app because I love it but can't with my iwatch.  Withings seems to have figured out how to do this. Why not you?

Another proud Fitbit user here who would love to be able to continue to use Fitbit's services with my Apple Watch. I would be more than willing to pay a premium price for a Fitbit app that integrates the Apple device with the extraordinary services that you offer in terms of exercise and weight tracking. Please accomodate your users in this regard!

It's not just about the Fitbit challenges - though those are a major factor - I'd like Fitbit integration with Apple Health. I've replaced my Fitbit Aria scales with Withings ones in part for that reason (the Arias bring wildly inconsistent and not exactly accurate was important too).

I use Apple laptops (at home and at work), have an iPad, an iPhone and an Apple Watch. I expect everything to work seamlessly across them all and I'm past the point of tolerating glitches in the system. For me, Fitbit has become the biggest glitch. Now that sleep tracking via the watch is getting better, the challenges are all I want Fitbit for. I'll wear mine as long as it works but I won't buy another. If Fitbit want anymore of my money they need to integrate with Apple Health for Premium subscribers.

For a company like Fitbit, which is good at software but terrible at hardware, a mechanism that effectively allows it to charge users a yearly fee somewhat akin to buying a new tracker without them actually having to make the tracker should be a no-brainer. Unfortunately it looks like  Fitbit is in a brain deficit situation.

I recently bought my wife a fitbit as she and her friends are using them to track exercise, etc. I have an Apple Watch so have no intention of wearing more than one wearable device. I was under the impression that the Fitbit app worked with Health although this appears to only be with limited functionality.

Given what everybody has been asking for, it strikes me that Fitbit have not rolled the full intergation out for purely commercial reasons, they simply want people to buy a fitbit. I understand it is a business and so sales are vital for them but frankly, I will not buy a Fitbit for myself. When I've already spent over £300 on an Apple Watch, I simply cannot justify the addition £100+ expense for another wearable device, especially when the Apple Watch does everything I need, and more!!

In a time when APIs and integration are commonplace, this really is poor form Fitbit.

I love the FitBit APP and have purchased 3 different tracker models over the years. I've got a lot of stake in the game thus far and I would STILL be willing to pay more money for a premium APP feature, whatever, to allow for Apple iWatch integration. Please do this!!

I too would love apple watch integration. I've never had luck with fitbit's wearables (first was flex which stopped charging regardless of all of their tips and tricks to get it to charge again, second was chargeHR which flat out stopped syncing and i'd have to sync with computer and then the screen went out, they sent a replacement which the button came out of the side within 4 months- this is not a warrantee fix so too bad for me so sad for me, then boyfriend's crazy ex left her's at his house when she movedout, and because he'd bought it, he said i could have it) at this point I am looking for a tracker that can see/read/respond to texts/emails. If fitbit could get that going and have it be reliable, i'd go for it. But for now, apple watch looks like it for me.

Please integrate with apple watch.

Easy to keep an income from it, simple have a small subscription fee for the integration.

Basically I have a an Apple watch now as birthday present so a several year fitbit user is leaving your eco system there for making all my friend's friends lists one shorter and more likely for themselves to leave.

Please integrate. Charge for it, add another revenue stream.

Stepping Up

Another fitbit user for years who migrated to the apple watch because I needed something to help me with calendar management, texting, etc.  I had to stop wearing them both, and would gladly pay a small monthly fee to continue to use the app with my watch.

Honestly, I would do it to add a revenue stream from people who don't use fitbits (not just apple watches) - and before someone else comes up with a way to motivate and track steps in challenges that will make the app less necessary.

I'm one of the original posters on this thread. I've now been using my Apple Watch exclusively for more than 6 months.

It's quite silly that I can use my iPhone as a virtual FitBit, but I can not use my Apple Watch, but I understand. FitBit has their own priorities.

Given the lak of response from FitBit, I'm moving on. Thanks, everyone, for your notes.

Another vote for Apple

Watch and Fitbit integration. I am

willing to pay for this so you don't lose money on my not buying another tracker. I have used Fitbit trackers for over 5 years. I don't want to "lose" all of that but I can't see wearing 2 devices. My last tracker burned my wrist and I had to send it back for a refund. Again, I will pay to get full integration with the app!

Please integrate! Need Apple Watch steps to show in the FitBit app! ---counting the steps on your phone is NEVER going to be the same when it's in your purse/bag...

I can't believe this topic created years ago and there is still no solution. I received an Apple Watch for my birthday so now I'm leaving the Fitbit challenge because there is no way I can work around this.

Hello

I am an Apple IWatch user and I also compete with my friends on FITBIT using FitBit app.

However , currently there is no integration between the two.

I would like to suggest if you could integrate the Iwatch data to be shown on FitBit app , for the users like me.

Thanks

I would also like to see a FitBit app for iWatch.  I recently upgraded from a One to a Charge 2, and also received an iWatch for Christmas.  I've been wearing both.  The app is far superior to anything from Apple but the iWatch form factor is far better than FitBit.  I work in a blood bank and the FitBit constantly gets caught in the cuffs of our lab coats.  The iWatch is rounded and very thin and smooth so that even tight elastic sleeves slide easily on and off.  The band of my sport watch is very pliable and comfortable and fits seamlessly into the watch.  The FitBit band is cludgy with poor fit and finish, although far superior to the Charge HR my wife has. I would be willing to pay for an app to have the best of both worlds in one device.
