Integrate with iOS Health

Hi there,

I'm really excited about Apple's announcement of the Health App in iOS 8 to be release this fall.  I'm looking forward to seeing a product announcement by Fitbit for a successor to the recalled Fitbit Force, and I'm really hoping to hear some exciting news about Fitbits intigration with Apple's new Health App to be released alongside iOS 8 this fall.

This is a huge oportunity to make your devices even smarter and more integrated - Please support these APIs!  Thanks!

3 years, 4K+ comments. Wow. Way to listen to your customers Fitbit. I just bought an Alta HR, which I really like after 2 hours :-). While the sync isn't a deal breaker, I'm very disappointed. This reminds me of Microsoft's Not Invented Here mentality.

Please integrate the Fitbit health data with Apple's health app!  The workaround processes are pretty clunky to get all my health info in one place

I just got my new Alta HR and I am very disappointed to know that it can not integrate data with iOs Health.

Please, consider this feature!!!

There are so many of us asking...

Yes, please integrate this with iOS. With all due respect, If I knew they weren't integrated I wouldn't even have bought this device. the native Apple apps are way above fitbit app/devices when it comes my buying priorities.

Face it: Fitbit marketing guys just ignore all of us.

Yes please integrate to Health kit, will have to seriously consider future purchases because of this if it doesn't get implemented

+1 This feature is long overdue.  Fitbit holds too much user data captive, preventing users from making good use of it, even with the premium tier.  Fitness and wellbeing are more easily improved when data can be examined across devices and sources.

I have also invested in your scales and at least 3 generations of Fitbit devices. I would even pay for a "Fitbit" app where it integrates with Apple Watch and collaborates with your database. It's quite frustrating.

I don't see why customers should pay for an app which other device suppliers give for free.  Withings make similar devices, have a pretty good app of their own and fully integrate with Apple Health.

I've given up on Fitbit which is a shame because they DO make good devices, but useless if they don't have the integration everyone is asking for.  Surely it would increase sales to integrate, especially as it is clear that they are losing customers due to lack of integration.

Here's what I would like to see connected to apple's HealthKit:

•weight/body fat %

•calories in/out

•steps

•heart rate

•sleep data

•VO2 max

•run/walk distance

My brother got an Apple Watch, and has been pretty competitive with me, but it's hard for us to compare data. Fitbit' integration with HealthKit would make that a lot easier.

Please do this - I would have thought it was a no brainer, particularly for those of us who are moving over from a competitor's device, to see continuity of data.

Recently changed over from Garmin to FitBit.  Really like my Blaze but I'm really surprised that it doesn't sync up with Apple Health.  Now I have my stats in two different places. Disappointing.

I'd really like to be able to share my scores with people in this community and the apple health kit is what I have on my phone.

Well, I was ready to join the Fitbit revolution and buy one... but no integration with Apple Health? Disappointing. Going to spring for an Apple Watch instead.

Apple Watch wasn't a revolution in any sense for those of us interested in tracking health. There is no decent way to challenge friends on steps, so it's missing the simple concept of competitive motivation. The circles and constant reminders don't work for me. Since switching to Apple Watch, I'm actually walking less. BUT, I'm not switching back because I like the other smart watch features it provides, things I can't get from Fitbit devices. I would pay as a Fitbit outsider for my Apple Watch steps to count in the Fitbit app. There is more money in subscription sales anyway. Make it free for those who buy your device and premium for the rest of us, please.

It's been almost 3 years and almost 4.5k people have commented on this thread alone. What's the hold up?

It would make keeping track of fitness so much easier if it synced up with health app. Please get this sorted it's been under consideration since 2014
