Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

I'd like to chip in my support for this function. I hope somebody does it. Maybe it doesn't have to be FitBit offically. I wish I could code the API to play nice. 😞

Mostly because it's much more intuitive as the fitbit app in how you can label different daily activities, like cycling.

Even my $12 Mi Band has Google fit integration, clearly this is a business decision, and I'd suggest not one that will be good for the company long term.

+1 I also want at least the Fitbit Aria to integrate with Google Fit, and why not, other applications like Polar Beats.  You still can compete with your software, if you make it more flexible.

Been considering buying an activity tracker (preferably with HR measurements), but the lack of openness is kind off putting me of.

EDIT: Just read the last part of the thread on integration with Apple's HealthKit. Makes me lose faith and want to research the competitors products...

EDIT2: The decision to not integrate into HealthKit (which I guess will also mean no integration into Google Fit) is even more difficult to understand after seeing that both the Polar M400 and Sony SmartBand 2 do seem to integrate into both HealthKit and Fit... Why does integration into an open platform fit with the business models of Polar and Sony but not with that of fitbit?

Please all of us are begging about this you really need to do something because think if every body here buys a basic Fitbit to record sleep for £50 because they can pair their Google fit or Moto 360 for example. You would make hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Please add support for GoogleFit to be able to pull data from Fitbit tracker. All of my apps work together and I'm very happy with Fitbit products. The only thing that isn't working however, is that I can't draw Fitbit data such as (exercises and weight readings) into GoogleFit. I've also submitted the request on Google's end but I believe the onus lies more on Fitbit developpers to support this since the SDK and API's are available.

To be honest I was surprised to find this wasn't supported. I just got a charge HR, but now that I see that it doesnt integrate with anything else I'm considering returning it and going with something that plays nice with 3rd party services and apps
