Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

I would love to have a google fit integration with my fitbit.

+1. The lack of this feature and other integrations is actually making me consider looking at different device alternatives - which says a lot because the only time my fitbit has left my wrist in the last two years has been to charge it.

Please sync Google Fit data with FitBit

I'm quite shocked that this is not yet implemented.

The device seems useless if you have no options to share the (or at least some) data with standard apps.

I'm not sure if you're paying attention to these posts but if you are please do this. I will be getting a Fitbit device soon and I'd love to see my step history in the Fitbit charts which can only happen if syncing between Google fit and Fitbit.

Thank you in advance.

I have managed to find a satisfactory solution to integrate fitbit and a
friendly diet monitor. I'm using MyFitnessPal. This is an awesome calorie
counter/diet diary. It also has exercise input as well, but I leave that up
to my fitbit app. They sync well, and I can get credit for my activity. The
only thing Google fit may do extra is social media, which I could care less
about. Hope this helps others set up a diet/fitness duo that helps with
your health.

Please consider Google Fit integration. The Withings and Weight Gurus scales have this feature implemented already.

I see this is an open request since 2014. Moderators, we can wait, but kindly give some positive information.

I also posted a question to Fitbit on their Facebook page.  The information they were asking about/commenting on (number of posts, the status of the suggestion, etc) are basic details that can be retrieved directly from this comment string.  They did mention to up-vote for this suggestion on the first page of this string...because perhaps, over 2000 users taking the time to comment or up-vote is still not enough.

Here is a link to the post I made on Facebook.  Please either respond to this one...or create your own from their company page.  I am not sure what it takes to let Fitbit know that this is a feature many people are looking for...but clearly they do not take their own message boards or Facebook seriously.

just give the community an answer on what is happening with this.

if you don't want to do it, then at least give us a reasonable answer as to why.

I am also very frustrated with the Fitbit brand after seeing this basic functionality being ignored. I used a Garmin tracker for 2+ years and recently switched to a Fitbit Blaze. A big reason for my switch was the [mistaken] impression that Fitbit could share data in/out with a broader selection of apps and services. Garmin Connect provides a way to bulk-export data; I would at the very least expect a way to import this data in order to carry over my history. If this basic feature isn't delivered (either sync or bulk import/export), my next tracker will not be made by Fitbit.

Please add this feature.

This  would be really great and necessary feature.

I don't keep my fitbit continuously connected to my phone in order to preserve battery. I use Google fit often,  who knows about all my GPS movements. Combination of two would give maximum result.

Thanks for considering this request!

Fitbit and Google I feel would be foolish not to offer in app integration.    What can it hurt?  Google seems to work with many current and future competitors by integration of it's software into virtually every platform.

Why not with Fitbit?  I'm sure they will find a way to make it profitable like everything else. 🙂

Fitbit and Google Fit integration would be perfect, I just lost another workout this morning because one overrode the other.

And it'd be nice to see the Google Pixel on the approved devices list. A couple people at my gym were telling me they didn't get a Fitbit specifically because lack of Google Fit and Pixel support. Just a couple dudes in a small gym, but I imagine there's a decent market out there being left out.

My Charge HR is now dead. Spoke to support and they gave me the option of the replacement or 50% off a new one (as is standard procedure for a warrantee issue). I would be looking at the Surge, since I would like some of the additional features it has. But my dilemma now is: do I continue with a company that clearly does not care with its users’ requests, or do I look at a Samsung, or LG, or Garmin, or Fossil, or Moto, or Withings, or Under Armour, or Pebble or any other number of trackers that do pretty much the same as the Surge but also integrate to Google Fit?

Disappointed to find after the fact, that my newly acquired Charge 2 does not talk with Google Fit. Now find myself maybe regretting my purchase. Hope this feature is implemented, but 3 years later and still no implementation; it appears strategical interests are getting in the way of this happening.
