Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

FYI...For anyone that is interested.  I've found that since the strava can sync with both google fit and fitbit.  I just log my activity in strava.  It updates both fitbit and google fit with my runs/bikerides.  The fitbit integration even allows matching up with your heartrate for the run.  So I don't log the activity in the fitbit application anymore since strava covers both.  Its been working great for me.

For whatever it clearly is not worth to Fitbit: Yes, I'd also love to see Fitbit integrate with Google Fit.

So my previous post has been removed by a moderator for being "inflammatory" and "not adding much to the thread outside of hostility".

So, good news, someone is actually reading this comments.

Bad news: they apparently don't care to reply giving us advancement on the integration or explanation on why a top-10 feature request is been completely ignored for more then 2 years.

In my previous post I linked a feature idea I created, to my surprise answered in 1 day, it already had 5 kudos and 2 comments before being archived. There, the moderator, somehow explain the process of how Fitbit pick up features ideas. It omit to say what happens when a features idea is not INITIALLY considered, like this one.

Trying to add something aside from hostility here.

Can't someone from fitbit just comment on this, giving us the old, "Our MD, Timmy Fitbit, doesn't like google and has said he'll sulk in a cupboard if we make our product do love with theirs".

At least we'd know then.

Or they could show us a list of things they are delivering before this suggestion (Maybe a watch that turns into a hang-glider, or a trilby that measures your blood pressure)

Recently got the app on my Android phone and I hoped for Google fit integration so I could be friends on the app with my wife who recently got a Fitbit and has an iPhone.

I'd probably get a Fitbit if it was integrated with Google fit, but it's almost a disincentive from getting one for myself at this point.

Wanting to replace my Charge HR with a Charge HR 2, and this issue is really throwing me towards another brand that syncs with other apps like Google Fit or S Health appropriately.   I'd sure like to give Fitbit my money though......

I have android phone, Android watch, and Fitbit, I want my steps to count for my health care plan credits no matter which device I'm carrying.  I'm pissed this does not simply work.

I work for a company in Ohio that has +10,001 employees, I sit on our employee health action committee we currently use Fitbit and provide payouts for employee participation.  I will propose ending out participation with Fitbit and moving to a different option if Fitbit is not more flexible permitting step aggregation from Android wear, Google fit. We provide Fitbit zips. Am I missing something?

I agree with the rest, allowing Fitbit to sync with Google would keep me a loyal Fitbit user.
