Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

I too would like to see this, I'm hoping I can buy a Charge HR and Aria for my fitness needs and integrate them into Google Fit

Google Fit is adding relationships with other tracking devices; I'm a FitBit fan and don't want to see your product fall behind the competition.

Please make your android app compatible with Google Fit . or better yet make fitbit flex directly compatible with google fit 🙂

Please integrate my data from my fitbit into my Google Fit account.

It is OUR data and it shold be free for us to do what we please with it.

Thank you,

Ryan

Fitbit has provided an open API so that Google, or anyone else, could pull your Fitbit data into their product if they wanted to. (With your permission of course.) So it is up to other people to integrate with the Fitbit data. (That is how it works with myFitnessPal, endomondo, etc...)

This would be a great news year resolution - adding Google fit support. I use my nexus 5 to track my steps but is not as accurate as my fitbit one.

I am going to go ahead and add my request to the long list of people that want to see this happen! I love my fitbit and want to see it integrated into Google Fit. My wife has an iPhone and I wanted to get her a fitbit but ended up buying her a VivoFit becuase that integrated with HealthKit. I don't want to have to do the same when I have a perfectly good fitbit.

Is me or the last update make it possible the transmition of data to Google fit?

I've already moved away from step tracking through Fitbit since there insn't integration with Google Fit and/or S Health.  I'm hoping I don't need to sell my Aria and get something else that will integrate.

I'm glad it's under Moderator Review, but as the consumer that means jack to me since under review could just as easily mean...we looked at it, but won't be doing it.

IMO if something goes into Moderator Review there needs to be a set/scheduled update frequency.

Good idea! Makes sense to integrate FitBit data in Google Fit and vice versa.

thanks

There's obviously demand for this integration.. please make it happen people.

We own an Aria and I am very interested in adding a Charge HR when it becomes available but am concerned over the lack of integration with Google Fit and Strava.

I agree. This needs to be integrated. I use myfitnesspal for food logging and that syncs with both services. Fitbit should seriously consider integration with Google Fit. I can see a lot of loss in customer base if this doesn't happen.

As a Fitbit "free user" (i have the app installed on my phone, and it's set to sync with MyFitnessPal);

I'd like the recorded steps from Google Fit imported into Fitbit, so i can compete with my friends who do use a Fitbit.

I already carry a fitbug in my jeans pocket and wear an android wear watch - so have no desire to purchase the Fitbit step hardware (although my wife has the Flex and we're pondering the Aria scales).

I think there's a real missed opportunity for leveraging some juicy data here.
