Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

Having the intergeation with google fit and apple health would be wonderful. This way all groups can unite and get fit together.

As many people have stated the Fitbit product line has some great options for fitness tracking and people interested in the quantified self. However, the data segregation from Google Fit is a major drawback and is causing loss of business. Would it really be such a loss to offer a path to Google Fit integration?

We would like to see fit bit app integrated with google Fit like some other do so that all the data collected by fitbit is available to the user in an alternate storage.

Currently Fitbit offers Fitbit Premium for ~$50.00 a year. You need that in order to be able to export the fitbit data. It must be an extremely important part of Fitbit Premium because integrating with Google Fit would essentially make this feature free (but would not offer food reports, sleep reports, activity reports, fitbit trainer etc.). It would be interesting to know if this is the main point stopping Fitbit from integrating with Google Fit. Would it be a significant loss of revenue?

Please add Google fit. My wife and I track Food with a different app and would love to get fitbit data into fit. I am considering some sort of hackery to possibly make it work but it would not be professional.

It's been over a year since this feature was requested in this thread.  In my opinion, it's not going to happen.  The data that fitbit collects is too valuable to them to just give it to another company.  Any company could generate revenue from this valuable health data.  In the privacy policy (https://www.fitbit.com/privacy) they deidentify your personal data so you remain anonymous, but it can be sold to "interested audiences".  If they can sell it, then their competitors can sell it too.  Sharing fitness data leads to so many privacy concerns and there are very few laws around this subject, so few that Fitbit hired a lobbyist last year after their privacy practices were scrutinized.  In any case, if we want Google Fit integration, we're going to have to buy compatible devices I think.

Please stop thinking about revenues first. We know that's why you're dragging your feet in making this happen. Make a good product with open data export, and you'll get more customers than through your closed business model.

The decision will be as simple as that - either Fitbit integrates into Google Fit, brings out an Android Wear app, now when this is even open for IOS users, or launches a competitive product to the upcoming 2nd generation of smartwatches everybody (except Fitbit?) has in their drawyers ready to sell in Q4.

At least I am not planning to wear 2 different devices on my wrist, or checking 2 different portals...

 Is there a way to do something as simple as view Fitbit data on the Android Wear device?  I always have my One in the pocket.  I can pair it with the Watch Urbane, but I can't firgure out how to view the Fitbit info on the watch.  It's on the phone, why not the watch?
