Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

Honestly I didn't even think of checking before buying my Fitbit device. Considerung Apple Health and Google Fit have been around for approx. two years now I took it for granted that a major player like Fitbit would integrate with them.

So please make this happen!

I also would very much like Fitbit to connect with Google Fit. It will make many things easier, especially when I am connected to an app via my work that tracks my fitness level through Google Fit, but not Fitbit. Please make this happen!

this will be a great addition, please add the support soon. otherwise people will start looking at devices that support google fit sync especially with wear 2.0 getting popular.

This topic is 2 years old....maybe they should get on this or give a statement as to if this will happen or not. This is just becoming an issue for me, but I will gladly update to a non-fitbit device next upgrade if a resolution isn't found.

I will not buy a fitness tracker without google fit support. It's very easy to export to google fit.

I realize it's a competitive advantage to lock your customers into a single ecosystem, but I am trying to choose between fitbit and garmin, and garmin exports to google fit. Unless fitbit will, that'll make my choice for me.
