Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

I'm interested by the Alta HR, but only if tracker data can be synchronised with Google Fit. 
In the meantime, I keep my Mi Band 2. The application Mi synchronise his data on Google Fit ..

Just bought an Alta HR, I didn't even bother to check if Fit bit had Google fit integration, I thought it was a given..... Considering a refund for something with better dev support...

If Fitbit is so lazy to give any answer and prediction on this subject I guess the only thing we can do is stop buying any product form them and tell everybody we know to do the same.

Back in Dec of 15 I was diagnosised with Type 2 diabetes so I bought a FitBit Blaze.  Recently my grandfather passed due to complications with Juvenile Type 2.  This has scared me to my core.  While I love my Blaze, it just does not provide the data I want to see now.  I love the social side of FitBit but need the data of a Garmin.  After a couple hours of internet searches and looking for a way to sync between the 2 platforms, Garmin and FitBit, I am stuck between moving forward to Garmin or staying with Fitbit.  So far the only thing I have seen that is a possibility of using the accuracy of a Garmin with the social side of Fitbit is SyncMyTracks but that has mixed results.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I understand the appeal of siloing your data and having exclusive access to it. Also, your app, at this point, is better than Google fit, google fit integrates with other devices that I use and that makes me miss this feature.
