Let us delete in-app notifications/messages

This is clogging up my iphone. I have a year or more worth of useless Fitbit notification messages I'd like to shed. I saw a 'solved' notice in here from a year ago stating it was resolved by stating there is no solution. This is simply ignoring the myriads of request/votes of customer requests/concerns to fix it. Fitbit should have had a REAL solution by now and apparently do not. In reality this problem has not been resolved but simply is being ignored by the company/moderator. The solution 'solved' to put a vote in ideas does not address the real concern or issue at hand. What's the point of a community forum if Fitbit does not listen to its customers? The thread should have flagged Fitbit/moderator to produce a real fix, we're still waiting.

I agree with you, there has to be a way since they inserted it, they would know how to fix it.  I'm never updating again.

How many must vote?  Fitbit inserted the code in version 22.53.4.  Before that update I was able to delete steps to go, days to go, etc.to clear them out of my iPhone. Therefore, they know the code they have to remove to fix this annoying situation. I'm never updating again since they do not list what bugs they fixed or new items they added.

How many votes before they do something? I was able to delete these annoying notifications before Fitbit did version 22.53.4.  Before that version I was able to delete them.  I had my iPhone clear of these and then once I downloaded 22.53.4 "100" notifications appeared.  The same ones I had deleted.  Since Fitbit added this, their IT guys would know which code to remove/delete or fix.  Since updates do not list "what bug" they fixed or new options they inserted. I am NEVER AGAIN updating my Charge2.

I sure hope they are listening

At least you had to option to update and refused to get notifications. Mine just update by itself, I didn't have a choice or vote. I want to vote for deletion of OLD notifications, please and thank you

I just received a replacement Fitbit for one that was defective. When I synced it to my phone all the old notifications beginning in February were on my phone again. They take up so much storage space.

Hello, just an idea, but would be great if we could clear or delete the notifications within the Fitbit app. It goes back to February so it must fall off after 6 months or so but would like to be able to clear it sooner, thanks

If I had not just bought a new one after losing my old one in an airport , I would dump them for sure. This notification thing is fixable and probably easily

I am ticked as well. There is no reason why Fitbit cannot fix this problem. I have two, one for me and one for my wife. We are about to dump both for the other, more expensive brand.

Cmon. This should be a simple fix. Let's get it fine.

I like receiving the notifications but I had to discontinue them because there's no way to remove them! I'd like to suggest a delete function for old notifications and messages! I have messages from over a year ago and notifications from February that serve no purpose except using up my memory

Please provide a way to delete notifications. And not just one at a time.

Please just find us a way to delete. Even if it is one at a time.
Thank you.

I hate the notifications. I get all kinds of junk pushed at me via email all day. The last thing I want is my cool app spamming me.

I'm new to FB and love my tracker but not being able to delete notifications in the app is maddening! Coming to the forum and seeing this has been an issue for months is not years is a shame and not a shining testament to FB's customer connection or lack thereof.

Please add add the ability to delete the notifications in the app.

I have notifications from February, March & April of this year in the app on my cell phone.  Would love to delete them!  Now have notifications turned off (under cell phone settings) so I don't receive any more.

I have just begun ignoring them. I don't even look. --Ilene

I have come to the conclusion that Fitbit does not care one bit about their customers and is probably liking the number of people who they annoy.

I have an IPhone 5. Can anyone tell me how to turn them off? I still want my other notifications to show on my Blaze, such as texts and appointments. What phone do you all have that you can turn off notifications inside the Fitbit App? Please tell us how you do it.

Yes, agree -- agree -- agree. We do not have unlimited space on our phones. I have had to turn off the notifications until this issue is resolved. Too bad.

seriously! This BIG of a response and no reply at all.
Disgusting.
