Let us delete in-app notifications/messages

This is clogging up my iphone. I have a year or more worth of useless Fitbit notification messages I'd like to shed. I saw a 'solved' notice in here from a year ago stating it was resolved by stating there is no solution. This is simply ignoring the myriads of request/votes of customer requests/concerns to fix it. Fitbit should have had a REAL solution by now and apparently do not. In reality this problem has not been resolved but simply is being ignored by the company/moderator. The solution 'solved' to put a vote in ideas does not address the real concern or issue at hand. What's the point of a community forum if Fitbit does not listen to its customers? The thread should have flagged Fitbit/moderator to produce a real fix, we're still waiting.

Why is the ability to delete notifications not an option? I don't mind receiving them but I want to be able to get rid of them. What is the hold up on this?

Fix this or I will look at products from other companies the next time I buy a fitness tracker. You are not the only one one the market.

I guess having a product with such an awful app. that can't be erased or reset must keep you all at fitbit employed!

Maybe it's time to go to Apple or Garmin!

There must be a way to get rid of these constant and annoying notifications!. Almost to your goal! Almost to your seven-day goal! I know. It's on my wrist. And the little red circle on the notifications won't go away either. Please just make this go away. The oldest is six months old!

If Fitbit cannot provide a process for deleting notification then I'll be putting my Charge 2 in the drawer, use my Apple Watch instead and tell EVERYONE that Fitbit management do NOT care about their customers!

They obviously can't do it - they don't have the knowledge or capability

So many people want this done - seems like a simple thing to me, but what do
I know.

They do NOT read the customer threads of communication. Please call corporate. I called and found out they do not read these customer chats.  You have to call and complain to help get this done.
The more of us who call to complain about it, the higher the chance of them doing something. Thanks,Carrie

I absolutely want to be able to delete nitifications. Why would anyone want to see messages from months ago saying"almost there"? In only 2 months there are so many notifications that it takes a full minute to download/update the app. Good thing I'm on a wireless network and not using up my data download allowance!

Hi @Smart25 and commenters - I'm sorry this change is frustrating to you. I wanted to let you know that this request was discussed internally and it's unlikely that it will be changed. The notification change was made in an effort to simplify the system and interface. It is now designed to show the last 100 notifications.

I understand this will be disappointing but I wanted to thank you for your suggestions nonetheless.

Me too. Apparently Fitbit has no consideration for us the consumers. They still have not fixed that option about deleting old notifications
