Let us delete in-app notifications/messages

This is clogging up my iphone. I have a year or more worth of useless Fitbit notification messages I'd like to shed. I saw a 'solved' notice in here from a year ago stating it was resolved by stating there is no solution. This is simply ignoring the myriads of request/votes of customer requests/concerns to fix it. Fitbit should have had a REAL solution by now and apparently do not. In reality this problem has not been resolved but simply is being ignored by the company/moderator. The solution 'solved' to put a vote in ideas does not address the real concern or issue at hand. What's the point of a community forum if Fitbit does not listen to its customers? The thread should have flagged Fitbit/moderator to produce a real fix, we're still waiting.

You bought their product and really that's all they care about. When this one breaks, and it will, I'm not purchasing another nor can I recommend Fitbit.

Yes just get rid of them totally.  I’ve stopped them from getting to my phone or pad but I can not get rid of the 3 months still on my app and I received about 5 per day.  They serve no use at all, just get rid of them.  This is a needless waste of space.  Fitbit should listen to the people who have the product.  I have yet hear any disagreement on this subject, no one has emailed me saying let’s keep the notifications.

I just did that and it is dated 4/15/17, there’s been a lot more clicks since then and yet the notifications still can not be deleted. So are the developers really looking for suggestions and problems or just giving us lip service? I think the latter.

Yes - I have 80 stuck there and I already know what I’ve done every step of the way - that’s why I wanted a Fitbit in the first place. I don’t WANT to be motivated any more 😡 🤺I want a ‘clutter-free’ phone

Good luck, I've been trying since April 2017. You can turn them off via Fitbit.com and not the app.

This is where the developers look for input.

But they don’t do a thing about it, we’ve been complaining since this started 2/27/17!!!

Unfortunately, the developers don't read all the comments; they only look at the number of people who register their vote via the button. The system is severely broken!

I did that and it said it didn't know what I was searching for.--Ilene

Just keep voting maybe they’ll finally do the right thing and listen to the customers. Oh I forgot I confused the powers that be at Fitbit with a company that gives a darn

Open up the heading let us delete... then on the left side you should a box with a thumbs up and a number. Tap on the thumbs up and you have voted for us to be able to delete notifications. Vote early and often, just inundate them with votes!

Thank you - I FOUND it at last!! Will just have to wait for all the ‘back log’ to be ‘absorbed’ I have to admit, the team who dealt with the problem were very patient and kind!
