Let us delete in-app notifications/messages

This is clogging up my iphone. I have a year or more worth of useless Fitbit notification messages I'd like to shed. I saw a 'solved' notice in here from a year ago stating it was resolved by stating there is no solution. This is simply ignoring the myriads of request/votes of customer requests/concerns to fix it. Fitbit should have had a REAL solution by now and apparently do not. In reality this problem has not been resolved but simply is being ignored by the company/moderator. The solution 'solved' to put a vote in ideas does not address the real concern or issue at hand. What's the point of a community forum if Fitbit does not listen to its customers? The thread should have flagged Fitbit/moderator to produce a real fix, we're still waiting.

I agree completely and wish some smart person could write the simple code it would take to do this. Ilene

I agree with all the comments made already. I don't mind the notifications but I want to be able to swipe and delete.

Do not hold your breath waiting for Fitbit to honor our request! I have
been following this request for months and there has been absolutely NO
action from Fitbit on making it possible to delete in app goal
notifications. Extremely disappointed with Fitbit customer service!

Won't EVER get another Fitbit. There are others out there.

I've had these useless notifications stacked up since Feb 27, 2017.  I guess Fitbit doesn't care about their customers.  Next time I'll get a different brand.  My first Fitbit lasted 14 months, I expect my current one to last about the same time.

So time's running out Fitbit tick-tock-tick-tock.

Yes yes yes. Unfortunately, Fitbit doesn't care about its clients. If I am mistaken, then prove me so by getting rid of these notifications that are clogging up my phone.

When I receive notifications I feel the blaze vibrate however the screen does not light up. It would be a nice feature if the screen lite up to display the message for a couple seconds, just my suggestion.

I just finished chatting with a rep and they said there is NO Way to delete notifications! Mainly because there is a  default of 3 months. Maybe they should look at changing that to a week. 3 months is way to long. She also said that they only look at Large number of comments.... One (1) should be large enough!

This so frustrating as they are a wonderful, responsive company in so many ways. If they aren't going to be deletable by users, a week before they are deleted sounds good to me.

This has been going on for months and months. I have my regular notifications turned off...why would I want FB's app telling me if I met my goal, have more steps or am an overachiever? I cringe when I see a little red notification icon because I know it's just taking up more space on my phone. The notices serve NO purpose being there any longer than a week, and should be deleted by the customer at any given time...or even TURNED OFF.  I do not believe Fitbit has any intention of fixing/patching this issue. It doesn't take a tech person(s) 6 months to figure something out.  Although I won my Fitbit, I will be looking into another brand who's company has done their research before slinging their product out for sale.

PLEASE give user ability to delete notifications! Makes a difference when making a decision to purchase your product or to continue to use your product!

Hi, I am looking at the notifications setup of Blaze. When I read the notification on Blaze, it still stays in the watch and vice versa. So I need to read everything twice and delete twice :-(. Could this be please fixed / enhanced? That'd be awesome!

I agree. Programming should allow users to delete notifications and messages in the IOS app. They pile up forever wasting memory on the phone. It is very annoying to not be able to clear them out. Many, many users are complaining in blogs and on line. Please make deleting old notifications and messages in the mobile app possible. Thank you!

If there is an auto delete mine doesn't work. I have massages and notifications going back over a year ago. Please write programming to allow users to delete old messages and notifications on the iOS app. To clean up phone memory use.

So many of us agree, unfortunately, Fitbit still hasn't listed and would rather have us frustrated than do this Simple (coding) Fix!!  Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!

still no resolution - older ones and newer ones, same issue

Inside the app there r a host of notifications. There needs to be a way to delete them.

they r using precious memory on my phone!

All of the messages n notifications inside the app need a delete option.

i love my Fitbit but may need to remove the app to clear these !

help!
