Maintain Fitbit web dashboard going forward

As an older user, my eyesight and hand eye coordination are poor. So, I prefer the website dashboard on my PC. That dashboard keeps directing us to the mobile app. Please assure you will continue maintaining both as I cannot rely solely on the mobile app. Please consider all of your customers when providing tools. Many thanks!

i have low vision - it is MUCH easier to log info in dashboard on PC than the app. Please! bring back the ability to log into dashboard on a PC. As far as I can tell all the comments regarding the change that was made want the dashboard on a PC to be reinstated. Have seen NO comments that anybody wants only the dashboard info to be available on app. Listen to your users - this is where your money comes from.

What are people to do that don't have SMART phones now? This will directly affect my next watch when this one dies. Garmin will have my vote if i can access my data via a COMPUTER. so disappointed after so many years of being happy with my Fitbit.

I have to wonder if removing the dashboard can be considered discrimatory?
Like you pointed out, trying to read, and make sense of, the information,
as it is laid out on the app can be VERY difficult. Having to use a cell
phone key board to enter information is also VERY difficult. Eliminating
the option of a "large print" display and use of a standard keyboard,
creates serious accessibility issues.

Folks, it ain't coming back! Alphabet has decided and fitbit is too small
of a revenue stream for them to worry about or support. Vote with your feet
there some alternative dashboards that have been listed. The best threat is
to stop using google search. That is where their ad revenue comes from,
and it is so riddled with sponsored content it is useless. There are
alternatives, but they involve changing your habits. Drop google, and they
might notice the ad revenue dropoff, but I doubt it!

It's not only for the older folks, but the dashboard in the app is NOT what the dashboard in the browser was, but much less in functionality.  I am also thinking of abandoning Fitbit all together and go with another company that provides more user-friendly options because of this abrupt cut of a very functional and useful site.  I can't even imagine what the reasoning behind this  move could have been.  The app dashboard shows only ONE single day and only ONE "item" as that's all that fits on a tiny screen, while the dashboard could show so so much more than that!  I really miss it.  And to add insult to injury, so to speak, now the link to "View Dashboard" in my weekly progress report takes me to the page "How do I use the Fitbit app?"...  Terrible humor.

@LizzyFitbit  - Please just bring back the web dashboard. It doesn't need changes. It doesn't need upgrades, just the dashboard we all know and love. The app SUCKS!!!! Especially for visually impaired and older FitBit users. Our world isn't in our phones. Some of us (ADA) need a bigger screen and the use of a keyboard or mouse to function. The app offers NONE of those options. PLEASE... bring back the dashboard on the web!!

I've been directing all my complaints to the CEO and executive member,
personal I think its discrimination. The app is just a summary, give you
**ahem** all info and is very buggy, I've only feed back one fault, not
interested in telling about the others 😂

That maybe so, but as I cannot contact the developers, just maybe she could pass on the message which hundreds are agreeing with 🤔Sent from my Galaxy

Why this prejudice against computers!!!!!!??????  (Everywhere.  The dummification of the US public.)

I too prefer a bigger screen.  But I also miss all the data you removed from the sleep data!  I used that information, as an older person, to try to

work on improving my sleep.  And it helped.  Why throw away something that works unless it is in error and if so, just fix it, if possible.  Being able to see the data on one's computer itself was not an error.  (I assume it takes no human labor every day to produce it.)   And if there was an error in the data you were showing us at one point in time, you should tell users about it.  Then tell them about the new method you're using! People who love science will be impressed, and the rest might come to love it if you write well enough.

Why doesn't anybody from Fitbit or Google respond to these posts?

i am a young man but also prefer web browser much more over a mobile app, Even when i am looking at my phone instead of my laptop, my mobile browser is the universal app. Please dont make us download and install an app for every single thing. Bring it back please...thanks.

Another exasperating thing I've noticed since July is that when I play my Fitbit Premium workouts:

1) the heart rate, active minutes, calories, etc. no longer display in a sidebar during the workout

2) casting it to my TV takes so long and at least 2 tries; plus, don't even get me started on when trying to fast forward or rewind workouts

I was quite enjoying Premium and had considered extending it beyond my trial, but with the elimination of the web dashboard AND the inconveniences described in point 2, I don't plan to. I'm really disappointed with how Google has handled, or rather, not handled things, and my impression of them has taken a nosedive. I really like my Luxe and I only bought it in May after my Charge 2 died (I'd had it since Dec 2017), but once my Luxe bites the dust, I am not returning to Fitbit. Will likely go back to Garmin, which was what used before purchasing my Charge 2. I'll consider switching back to Fitbit if they bring back the web dashboard, but if they don't = no go.

I share the disappointment expressed by other Fitbit users regarding Google's discontinuation of the website browser.  I was a youthful 60 years old when I purchased my Fitbit One in 2013, and my eyesight has declined during the past 11 years.  Despite my iPhone's accessibility features, I find it difficult to view the mobile app.  My 2024 United Health Care Medicare Advantage Plan eliminated the previous benefit for a Fitbit tracker (every 2 years), so am wondering if UHC learned that Fitbit would no longer offer a website dashboard for their subscribers.  I can only assume that Fitbit is (only) interested in a younger demographic for product development and support.

When I started with Fitbit at the beginning of 2024 I could see my results on my computer and on my Android phone. But in July Fitbit has discontinued the web browser based ap so I can now only see results on my phone which is harder to see and makes GPS generated maps near impossible.
Retrograde step. Anyone else disappointed in this?

A large percentage of us are with you. We've been posting our complaints a month now and no one from the company is acknowledging any of it , appears they just could care less. I personally have called the company 3 times.  They removed the web based dashboard to better serve us, so they say.

I completely agree with the other posters.  As a long-time user of the FitBit dashboard I'm devastated that it no longer exists.  I'm searching for a website to track my weight.  That's it.  So far I've been using Fat Secret...but it's not as nice at the FB dashboard for displaying your progress or lack thereof.  Please bring the dashboard back.  It was simple, easy to use and I could print out my graph..  I haven't used your app for weight tracking and whenever I find another pedometer that'll be the end of my time with Fitbit.  Sorry but the recent changes have ruined the product for me.

The Web Based Dashboard had several features not available on the app. Aside from features now missing that others mentioned, I often just add estimated steps to my activity on those days I don't have my fitbit, I can no longer do this. Tracking my step count is a key component to my health program.

I work in an environment where I can't wear my fitbit, so I use a pedometer to count steps while not wearing the fitbit.  At the end of the day I would edit the step count on the website.  The app only allows walks to be edited by adding miles or kilometers, not steps.  Either redesign the app to allow for steps or bring back the web based dashboard.

I have viewed numerous concerns that match mine own (no longer able to see data on my computer).  However, I can't seem to find an answer or a solution.  If it is no longer available, then it would be helpful to know.

The app does not allow input of steps.  The web based platform no longer exists.  So there is currently no way to add steps.

Hi. The function to add steps is not available on the app and the web based platform is gone.

Yes, many people are unhappy about it.  I'm not sure why they appear to consider the mobile app to be appropriately accessible, either.  It is problematic or impossible for a person with vision impairment to read a graph or a map on a small screen and certainly a screen reader isn't going to be helpful with that.  It's truly baffling.
