Make Heart Rate Data export in Excel/CSV format

Please add the heart rate data to the reports that can be downloaded/exported.  The ones for the activity and sleep are perfect but since I have a pacemaker I really need to have one to print out for my cardiologist showing how often I rise above the set pace.

Thank you

I am 75, disabled with a heart that sometimes over reacts, which means my exercise is confined to just monitoring my day to day activity to keep fairly fit. But my main use is to keep a regular check on my HR as an advanced warning of any problems, and my Charge 3 does that admirably.

But what I would like are graphs with a full axis (actual figures not just start end and half way). This would make it so much easier to read the data and associate it with an activity and/or time. Being able to export or print the graphs would also help.

I use the windows app as this is better for my eyes and fat fingers, but the idea should work on any app

I may not be a fitness fanatic but I find my Fibit a great way to just keep up with with my well-being with minimum effort at a reasonable cost

I have an Inspire HR and for some reason you cannot export the heart rate data even though the data is clearly available. This should be available to export, along with any other pertinent data.

Hi @matt6003. Thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about being able to export your heart rate data. This idea was already requested in the Feature Suggestions board, so I’ve moved your post here. While this isn't currently planned at this moment, we have left voting open so we can keep tracking this request over time. I was hoping for my resting heart rate - the actual rate not just the time spent at that rate

Yes, indeed! That would be of added value to have in the download. But maybe you can calculate that from the other data?

Fitbit has been "aware"  of the problem of and much requested need for detailed HR information since forever. Why does it continue to be locked away!? This is incomprehensible and utterly inexcusable. Shame on you, Fitbit. <expletives>

You vote with your feet.
They have known about this for years and have back-peddled.
The data is there and it is easy to get, but they can not be bothered.
My Fitbit is slowly dying now as the battery will not hold charge for long - once it is dead, I will never use fitbit again.

I want to see HR data exported so I can graph it in Excel. Ideally all values so I can plot like graph in Dashboard.

Hi @TMcKittrick, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to export HR data in Excel/CSV format. This feature suggestion already exists, so I've moved it into a similar request. While we don’t currently have plans to release this feature, we always appreciate the passion and creativity that comes out of this Community. Since we know this idea is important to many of you, we have left voting open to continue tracking interest and will post another update if anything changes. To learn more about how Fitbit decides which suggestions get developed, visit our FAQs.

I hope to see you around.

HR & Sleep graphs both, please. So many useful reasons ( to many to list). I love my FitBit and the smart watches are too clunky. I know FitBit is working on entering the health data market and I appreciate it. However, we need to have the ability to export to Excel and compare the rates in groupings that work for all of us.

I am unplugged from FitBit since it is now owned by Google. I will not knowingly or willingly submit my personal data to Google, so I have consigned my FitBit to the trash pile.

Umbriano, I would be more concerned about Fitbit's general incompetence, than Google's privacy issues. This thread is now 35 pages long, and Fitbit is still "working on it". That abysmal level of responsiveness is not normally seen in developed countries.

Having the min by min hr data available would be helpful in reviewing tachy / brady events

-----------------------------------------

The min by min data is available by individual day but a CVS file of a;l the data would be ideal for analysis.

It is stored someplace so making it downloadable should not be very difficult.

Thanks

If the feature is not released, then it does NOT really exist. You may have it in R and D but if you do not release it, it does not exist. Your competitor Withings has this not only as a feature but can be setup to directly send the data to your doctor.

HR data as a CVS seems to have been swirling around for a few of years now.
Not sure why FITBIT does add it to their product options. The data is stored and available on a day by day
basis so it seems to be a relatively easy software patch to aggregate the data as a CVS file for its customers.
They have never directly addressed this for some reason beyond "it is not currently being addressed"

Hello, we are in 2021 any chance to download heart rates? This would be really helpfully.

AukeL

That is easily possible! For over 3 years I have downloaded my own HR data. I wrote some Python code, built a dataplatform and thats it. Collected 8640x365x3 samples. Regards

Thats great. Better if I can do it, though. How would that work?

Access to all my data. The dream!

Today I ran my fastest 10k loop ever. (Well, within the tolerances of my Ionic's GPS.) But how did I know this? Fitbit doesn't tell you. What is my average time for a 10k loop? Again, don't ask Fitbit. You have to keep track yourself. Copy the information after each run into something else, like Excel.

                                       >>>  Date, distance, time. Pretty simple stuff. <<<

IMO this is ESSENTIAL training data. Perhaps Fitbit isn't actually interested in helping people train?

The data is all in there. We're just not given download access to it.

After over a decade of buying Fitits, I'm looking at the competition.

Wow...this is still not a feature?  Fitbit, you should really ashamed. This is terrible.

For a simple request I do not understand why they just don’ t add the feature
