The previous poster is correct... The lack of a heavy stats face is
dangerous to those exercising at a fast pace. Biking, running, etc. The
bottom line is that Google doesn't care about making fitbit successful, and
their incompetency and greed is going to cause people to injure themselves.

Sad to see to date a solution is not available

Please do provide a solution

Thank you!!!

Keeping the thread alive. If you aren't going to update the tracker faces, can we do it ourselves? Pretty please?

I came here looking for SDK resources to make the face that should have been one of the first available for this tracker. But it doesn't seem like that's an available option. When I'm exercising I don't need the time (especially not in such a ridiculous format), I need my stats: BPM + SpO2 prominently displayed with a ring around that showing progress toward the daily goal and then a small, one-line clock at the bottom.

Honestly, I'd prefer inclusion of the Inspire 3 in the SDK targets, becuase then I can make exactly what I want (and share with others, of course)

Highly agree with all comments made. I don't want special effects and animations despite how nice they may look for marketing. Your customers are far happier with functionality rather than gimmicky. Please, don't make me regret this purchase

This upgrade feels like a downgrade, I'll be returning and going back to my Inspire2 until this is sorted.

I wish I knew before getting the inspire 3 that the heavy stats wasn't on it its defiantly a downgrade I feel massivaly cheated with no heavy stats I dot need 20 different versions of the same clock

I can tell there is a high chance a lot of people got scammed with the watch faces as I've read people have returned their inspire 3s because of this its clear that the developers don't care about what people really want as this post feed is over a year old with no news on heavy stats watch face

Three pages of comments regarding this and it still hasn't changed? I'll definitely be looking into a different fitness tracking company when my Inspire HR dies (it has lastest years, the Charge 5 died at 16 months because it went in water for 10 seconds...). Shameful company.

Yes, I'm also in the same boat, just waiting for my inspire 3 to die.
Definitely never getting a fitbit again. It's tragic because they can just
make what's already available on the inspire 2 here, but they're not
willing to put in 10 minutes of effort. Pretty pathetic.

Sigh, still no movement on this. Guess I'll just keep changing the 2 until it dies then get me a Garmin lily

Over a year of frequent replies and I see not one response from Fitbit/Google?  The auto generated statement says "Fitbit cares about your feedback", but that doesn't seem to be true.  You've got lots of consumers telling you that they want a feature they used to have, something that I imagine would take about an hour to put together, and you can't even bother with a response?

My wife has been trying to get me to convert to Garmin for a long time.  If Fitbit can't be bothered to even respond to basic and reasonable requests for functionality, maybe it's time to make the switch.

Very disappointing Fitbit, I would have preferred to stay with your products if you had even a basic level of customer service.  Sadly, it seems that you do not.

Yes, it doesn't seem like Fitbit cares too much about actual fitness stuff.
Garmin would be a much better option and this is definitely the last
Fitbit/Google wearable I ever buy.

Over a year later and nothing has happened! The inspire 3 feels like such a downgrade from the 2 just because it doesn't have a stats heavy watchface. I use my inspire 2 still sometimes just for that. Come on google!

100% agree with original post. I just got my Inspire 3, “upgraded” from Inspire 2 which doesn’t feel much like an upgrade because of the missing stats heavy face. It is really absurd, why Fitbit won’t get one of their programmers to spend a couple of hours making this. If there are over 100 users that took their time to post here, I can imagine there are over 1000 users that would like to have a stats heavy face. I’m sure Fitbit knows how many people use a stats heavy face on their Inspire 2. It’s been over a year since this original post was created. This unwillingness to listen to its customers is really hard to understand. You don’t take away a key and very cheap feature when upgrading to a “better” model, that is pretty basic stuff. I’ve had my Inspire 3 for 2 days but I’ll be returning it for a full refund. Will go back to my Inspire 2. I prefer having a bad screen that is impossible to see under daylight than having to tap a million times to see all my stats every time. It’s just so obvious. We don’t want to tap five times to see all our stats! Please give us a stats heavy face!

Come on Google, it can't be hard to recycle a watch face that has been part of previous FitBit Inspire trackers. Clearly it's one of the most requested features and it's being completely ignored by Google...

To add on to this.

Are the Fitbit employees allergic to making a stat heavy clock face? Is there a manager somewhere who refuses to let the design team public a stat heavy clock face for inspire 3?

Inspire 1 had one

Inspire 2 had one

Inspire 3 has 20 variations of the same thing.

Please make a stat heavy clock face. This original thread was made in 2022.

Why is Fitbit ignoring customer feedback?

I hate having to cycle through the various stats. I love my inspire 3 except for the garbage clock faces.

Another request for this: time, steps and heart rate on a single screen.

Same here: a clock face with a simple screen full of the data is necessary. We have one on the Inspire 2 but not on the Inspire 3. This is a feature regression.

Strong agree on this. I just received mine today and it feels like a downgrade from the inspire 2 without this one feature.

Please make the Inspire 3 part of the SDK!!...
It'd be pretty easy for the community to start customizing and have exactly what they need.

I had misread and was setting everything up just to find out Inspire 3 wasn't an option while setting up a project :'-(

Hi.

OP here.

In the end, due to Fitbit / Google’s inaction.

I binned the Inspire range and went with a Charge 6. (I also tried a Garmin but found the Charge 6 better)
Although the battery life isn’t as good.

There is a clock face called “Target”

its brilliant big and legible. No need for taps or swipes. But what a mess around just to get a tracker with a “Pure” step count on the screen

I feel your pain! I’ve tried Garmin and Apple (charging everyday wasn’t for
me sadly) and the Charge 6 but was allergic to the metal back so I’m back
at the Inspire 3. There is now a face which allows HR and one other stat
which is an improvement but it still looks like a kids toy and still
doesn’t match the Inspire 2 for a stats heavy screen. Not great. 😟

Huawei band 8 is my next tracker. Lots of faces and even a bit thinner.

The inspire 3 is not bad but the lack of customization is what changed my mind.

If only that **ahem** thing could stop working then I would have that band 8 around my wrist this week.

But e-waste and all. So I will be looking at my non customizable watch-face a little bit longer 🙂

Another vote and comment for SDK or at least more clock options.

As with many others I was looking to develop my own but found out the Inspire 3 isn't supported.

Still inside the return window so I may just refund and go with a different brand.

Absolutely agree.

the only numerical clock face options are vertically displayed time (so hard to read!)

would love a simple stats display!
