Hi @Mabear23, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see Measure Body Temperature on Fitbit trackers. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request and you can check this other request: Blood pressure Fitbit tracker. A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
It would be very informative to have our fitbit devices track our body temperature automatically. This would be similar to the heart rate tracking feature, where it can be always on, always tracking. Similar to heart rate, it would be useful to see these stats on the dashboard as well as on the device itself.
Body temperature is needed especially now. Many of us will be re-entering business that will require us to measure and report our temperature daily. It would be helpful for our Fitbit to collect, record and display body temperature.

A temperature tracker for the covid 19 pandemic so people dont have to always have their temperature taken they can just show their fitbit temperature reading.
Hi @Acwphotos914, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about being able to measure body temperature, this feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here to keep this board organized.
It would be nice if a Fitbit could measure body temp so that you did not have to have your temp taken every time you entered a building. But, would the companies acknowledge that the temp on the Fitbit is correct?
I was just invited, on my cell phone Fitbit app, to participate in a Fitbit COVID-19 survey. In reading the 'Consent Agreement' I came upon this statement, "Your personal Fitbit device data from the prior 3 months may be analyzed, including heart rate, step count, blood oxygen saturation, *WRIST TEMPERATURE*, and sleep data." (bold, all-caps and asterisks are mine) So, Fitbit is already collecting my wrist temperature data. Not sure how long they've been doing that. I haven't read all of the comments here ~ going back to 2015 ~ regarding this topic. I would value Fitbit including my temperature data on my dashboard. The Fitbit Study is being conducted by their Lead Research Scientist, Conor Heneghan. His information can be found on LinkedIn. For many years, he has been in development, with a number of other people, of a medical device that would help people with sleep apnea. I'm not sure if the data collected in the Fitbit COVID-19 survey (including the previous 3 months of (all?) device data) will be used within his other project(s). Anyways, Fitbit could be providing us with our temperature data, but don't.
Since the COVIDl-19 pandemic, I think a recorded body temperature metric would be very beneficial in case someone gets sick with a fever. The recorded App metric could be referenced by medical personel in determining exactly when someone showed signs of a fever.

Recovery Runner -- Very interesting post. Guess I missed the wrist temperature notification when I signed up for the Fitbit COVID-19 survey. I hope they do put the info on the dash board soon.
Please add body temperature measurement. For COVID, this is a critically useful function. It should also be doing statistical analysis and tell you based on past data, not absolute thresholds, whether or not you have a fever. Add this function to the Charge family and I will buy a new one on the spot. I have been trying to find alternatives that have it. So far, they haven't been good enough to abandon my fitbit to get the temperature measurement, but if I find one that is even close, I will jump ship to get the body temperature measurement. In particular, if as was pointed out in an early comment that you are actually already taking body temperature measurements and all that is needed is a UI change to expose the data, then you should definitely get this out on the market sooner rather than later. For body temperature, absolute accuracy is not as important as trend analysis so that you can tell if your temperature is higher than is normal for you.
Since the data is already being collected, I imagine it may be possible to just add a 'body temp' tile to the Fitbit Dashboard; no new device required. I'm not sure though, if that's how it could work (just makes sense to me). Would be great if a representative of Fitbit would address these points that we're making.
A tile to manually log temperature has been added to the phone app but not to the web page yet . It would be a plus to add to the temperature record the method of temperature measurements used i.e. oral, rectal, ear or forehead as each method has a different range of accuracy.
Since you've added temperature tracking for Covid-19, it should only ba a hop, skip and a jump to add basal body temperature tracking female health tracking. Please consider adding this, it would be very useful.
I think one of the main stats that should be displayed along with the existing(steps, heart rate, and calories) should be ones body temperature. Ive always wanted this since i had been curious how much/if body temperature changes while working out my guess would be by a miniscule amount but something. But now with covid it could be more useful.

Monitor Sleeping even if it's just naps. Night monitoring is great, even tho naps stats aren't as detailed (it monitored a nap ONE TIME so far). Body Temp monitoring would be great, too!
Hi @SoteriaGal, we wanted to let you know that the ideas you recently posted already exist on the Feature Suggestions Board. You can see them here where you can add your vote to those existing suggestions:

Would be great to see this. Especially under current circumstances. Could it help in monitoring and predicting health concerns or viruses? I've been using a clock face called that tries to help predict when I am susceptible to getting sick, but it requires regular user input and I'm not sure how accurate it is. I have not been sick yet thankfully.
