More Adventures races/solo (in USA and Internationally)

Can you add more adventures to list of available choices? Right now there's stuff in New York and California but nothing that represents the middle of the country. I'd like to see Grandma's Marathon from Duluth, MN added to the list of available adventures and maybe some other well known places like Mount Rushmore or the Washington Mall in D.C. or Glacier National Park. Just please add more places.

I’ve been given the answer👍. An app called Stridekick. There are hundreds of folk from Fitbit, Garmin, Apple, etc on there doing loads of great challenges. If you join my user name is Keithdw

Ok. I’ll try it. Tried world walking but didn’t really like it. I quit wearing my fitbit. Guess I’ll put it back on.

Activity.club is another app that lets you do challenges with friends with different fitness devices. Looks good so far.

Please add more challenges to choose from.  The same NYC and Yosemite are old, please give a lot more options.

thank you,

How about adding the Appalachian Trail? (It starts from Springer Mt, Georgia & goes to Mt Katahdin, Maine) It's approx 2200miles, but it could be broken up into different challenges too. The White Mts in NH are gorgeous!

Then again, there's beautiful trails in Florida too 😊, especially the Keys!!

 Thank you,

Hi Debbey, they’re great ideas. Unfortunately- like all the other great ideas for more adventures on this thread over the past couple of years- they’re likely to be ignored by Fitbit. Fitbit seem disinterested in expanding this feature despite its obvious popularity, the company is also disinterested in making any response to its customers inquiries.
Sorry to be the bearer of disappointing news.

Someone mentioned Stridekick.com earlier. I'm using it and it is fun so far. They have public challenges and if you make one, it should fill up with 10 people (free version) in under a day. You can have challenges that last for a month. They also let you set an average step limit for your challenge so everyone who joins is at a similar level.

In the FAQ section, they explain how to make your own trails uses Google Earth. Upload to them and they will put it on the site. Maybe they would be open to doing stair/height goals as well, they at least seem responsive.
fab, cheers for that.

Sadly that is so true! I’ve been reading the threads- a ton of people have been begging for more adventures! Even suggesting some really awesome ideas ie the Appalachian trail - and Fitbit ignores us 😮 very frustrating

Thanks Debbie
I now do all my challenges on Stridekick, it’s a great app that allows users with Fitbit’s, Apple, Garmin and several other trackers to compete in different challenges from 2 day up to 32 days.

I would love some more solo adventures - what about ones in the UK? Like London, Peak District, Lake District, Edinburgh, Cotswolds, Cornwall etc.

I like the USA ones but it would be nice to have some UK ones too

Hi @featherlau! Thank you for the suggestion. Let's see what other users have to say about it.

I loved seeing Yosemite in one of the adventures! Hopefully FitBit will consider adding more National Parks to the Adventures?

The Grand Canyon would be a really cool one to see, especially with it having a lot of both American & international visitors!

There are I think a few national parks on the “Stridekick” app. The challenges on there are fantastic, check it out. It syncs with Fitbit, Garmin, Apple. The challenges can have over a hundred people in some of them and they can run from 1 day up to 31 days. If you join my user name is Keithdw, give me a friend request 👍

I would like to see the grand canyon, or the grand canyon of the east - Letchworth Park in upstate NY.  Also the Appalachian Trail, or to walk the great wall of china. So many locations throughout Europe.  Not to mention ideas like hooking up with Disney for a Star Wars Theme or a walk through wonderland.  Or with HBO for an adventure across Westeros.  You could even do limited holiday themed ones around christmas, or working off that Thanksgiving turkey.

Side note how about enlisting your user base to get the pictures/panoramic for all the new locations - some of your users have to at a minimum have a decent camera on their phone.  Also i am sure quite a few also have devices like the GoPro.
