More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

Still needs work on general improvements as discussed above but well done for fixing what for me was the main issue.

Oooops.... I have just checked my old FitBit display and it had Digital time and month and date only.

I must have been dreaming about a day feature!

However, for a new clock face design with date I would like the day of the week added also, if possible (& why not...)?

I agree. I would like to see the day of the week. I also would prefer to have the date together with the heart bit rate instead of the number of steps or even both if possible.

Well Fitbit you tried, but not very hard.  For us over 40, the fact that the 2 other stats on the new clock faces is still grayed out, it does not improve anything.  Add to that, in order to have the date, I have to give up either HR or Steps.  If you have read the comments at all, I mean really read them, you would understand we need all the numbers to be white on at least some of the clock faces and we didn’t want to give up a stat to get the date.  Please Fitbit actually read what people are writing.

@KateFitbit can you please pass on what we are actually asking for with the watch faces?  And can you please let us know if there are more in the works that actually address all the concerns?  Thank you.

Producing a clockface is not difficult.

Producing a usable clockface is fractionally more challenging.

FitBit had a limited range of quite good clockfaces on the Charge2.

The device I use, (AmazFit Bip), has literally thousands of clock faces, ( admittedly mostly rubbish ).

Why, after a huge build up to the release of the Charge 3, is there nothing more than childish rubbish ?

I got the update, when I click on one of the new ones it says “this clock cannot be installed on your device”. That’s not helpful. 😳

This thread seems to be fragmenting.  There seem now to be three groups of people:

1. Those satisfied with the addition of a date face.

2. Those simply requesting more choice.

3. Those requesting higher information / visibility.  Higher information refers to more items of information on a single face.  Higher visibility refers to NO gray scale, which reduces visibility in daylight and for folks with less than perfect vision (like myself).  In short, function over form.

The moderators seem to have abandoned this thread assuming folks fall into the first two groups.  If you're in the last group, I have opened the following new thread:

I just got off chat support about this. I was stunned I could not at least get my charge 2 faces on the charge 3. This needs to be an immediate priority from the Dev team. At least add the charge 2 set of screens including one with date, time, steps and heartbeat...

I completely agree with the Community.  So disappointed with the watch faces and that FitBit hasn't made any more available.  At the very least, give your customers the same options as before.  Paying more money generally gets you more than the last version, not less.

The clock face is a disappointment for sure.  But after using the Charge 3 for a few weeks, I have other complaints.  The fact they have crammed two features on one screen e.g. heart rate and how many miles you've walked, makes it hard to read because the print is so small.  In addition, I may need to read a little deeper, but it appears to only notify you the battery is low when it's almost dead.  The Charge 2 let you check to see the status of the battery.  It's baffling why they made the Charge 3 an actual downgrade from the Charge 2.  I would start using my Charge 2; however, it slowly died...one feature at a time!

Ok, So I'm completely disappointed in the Charge 3! So, I'm giving up on this charge 3 hype. I'm sending mine back on Monday when I go back to work! I just ordered the Amazafit Bip from Amazon. $79.99 and tons of faces to choose from, 30 day battery life and uses any 20mm watch band.

 I read on the Charge 3 User Group FB page that a new clock face showing date has been released. However there appears to be no clock face showing time, date, steps & heart rate as my Charge 2 does. A simple request that has not been followed up. Sadly I'll give the Charge 3 a miss until this feature becomes available. I need to scratch my head now deciding what to buy myself for Xmas....

I've been a long time user of Garmin fitness trackers, VivoSmart, VivoSmart HR, etc. I found very disappointing the way fitbit has delivered the Charge 3. It looks like a product that it's not ready. We need a Clock face with date, day. time, steps and % battery. I am regretting not getting the VivoSport that includes GPS for almost the same price. It's sad.

Loved my Charge 2 face. Hate all of the Charge 3 options. Steps need to display in bigger print. Text messages are just too small to read too. In all, I wish I had my Charge 2 back. (It broke. Thought I was upgrading to the 3. )
