More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I like my charge 2 but need a new clock face and update better with new

Would love to see a three hand analog with numbers easily read at a glance . For my job I use a second hand in 15 s increments to measure patient vital signs but I have to write the time in 24hr format; i work long hours and accuracy is important for my patient charts so a reliable watch feature to help me accomplish this even quicker would be a great tool  🙂

There are more now than 6 weeks ago when this suggestion was posted, but keep ‘em coming.  There still not nearly enough variety, and nothing close to the concise clarity I had on the Charge 2 I just gave up.

My favorite face there was the  2 digit hours stacked over 2 digit minutes in big bold type, with day and date below.

The closest I can get on my new device feels like a downgrade in  utility and aesthetics because it’s less clear and less informative even with the higher res screen.

I’ll add that I can’t imagine why this is taking quite so long: I know there are approvals and stuff, but can design a dozen of these in a day.

Please make some changes with clock faces, it's really important for everybody.

Please add watch (analog and digital) with a date, and two editable fields (steps, hr, steps, calories, km, floors, minutes, etc.), then each of us can put there what we need.

Please make this progress!

Two requests of Fitbit:

1) provide daily updates of the effort/progress in bringing us new clock faces for the Charge 3,

2) allows 3rd party developers to create new faces for the Charge 3.  For my Ionic, I use Clock faces developed by Lignite; they are GREAT.  I suggested they develop watch faces for the Charge 3 and got the following response (sent within hours hours of my request, I might add)

As for the Charge 3: unfortunately Fitbit doesn't have a public SDK for developers to use, so we can't create watchfaces for it. If in the future they were to open the platform up, we'd surely jump on it right away.

I just got my Charge 3 yesterday And I was initially pleased by how light weight it felt in my hand. But as soon as I went to the screen to choose my clock faces I was disappointed! There were so few options and nothing with the date and the day of the week- in addition to the heart rate and steps- like I was used to on my charge 2! More clock faces ASAP please!

Two big reasons “upgrading” from a @Fitbit Charge 2 to Charge 3 is a waste of money:

1. The step count on every screen is smaller, almost unreadable at a glance. The number 1 reason we buy a step counter is to count steps! What use is a bigger screen if you shrink the step count?

2. You went from a selection of  11 clock faces to only 8, and included none of the 11 Charge 2 designs, in case we wanted to keep a favorite clock face. You’re going backwards, @Fitbit.

The ideal solution would be some kind of face maker where you can drag and drop elements into place. Since it is doubtful that one would be created, then the minimum would be to include all the previous faces from charge 2. This does not seem like a feature request but a common sense request. Many fitbit charge 3 users are upgrading from the charge 2. The faces available today do not have a step count, time, date HR digital face. There is plenty of room for all these elements. Please make additional faces a priority.

The only thing that will get Fitbit’s attention is the all powerful pocket book. Everyone return your Charge 3 and repurchase only after Fitbit includes all Charge 2 faces on the Charge 3. An apology for the blunder would also be nice but not essential. Dumb....dumb....dumb and blind to users.

 I really loved the clock face choices on the FitBit 2, especially the one that had the time at the top with

the date right under it, then steps icon with the number of steps under that at the bottom.   I don't like any of the clock face on the FitBit 3. Please bring back that clock face.  Thank you for your consideration.

Please add a clock face with date, time (digital), steps and heart rate, as was available on the charge 2. The available clock faces on the charge 3 are not that useful and/or not attractive to me. Thanks!

Yes, I was really disappointed that the Charge 3 doesn't have my favorite Charge 2 Clock face with Time, Date, Steps, & Heart Rate. Come on guys. I didn't expect that I would have to down grade my clock face when I upgraded to the Charge 3.  I want my old Charge 2 clock face!

Another vote for more clock faces and bring back 24 hour time format option. The most basic of features, why on earth take it away?
