More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

Agreed..….such a disappointment and the face is not as user friendly as the Charge 2....harder to go between face and other settings.

I was thinking of getting this after having my Alta HR for a couple years. The fact that it doesn't have a watch option with a date is a little unappealing - I use that date ALL the time on my Alta. I think my parents may have gotten this for me for Christmas because I love swimming but hate taking off my Alta every time to do so - wish I'd read these comments earlier and I hope this and other issues get resolved soon 😕

I bought a Gearfit 2 Pro on Monday to replace my aging Charge 2. Yet the battery life in the new Gearfit 2 pro was a deal breaker, so I went today during lunch time to purchase a Charge 3...after realizing that for the same price as the Gearfit 2 pro the charge 3's faces were a complete let down. For the same price as a full color OLED you would think fitbit could address this issue. I have returned the product within less than three hours of purchase because the watch faces are such a disappointment. Fitbit is a great tool yet from the Charge 2 to 3 it seems like the only upgrade your getting a waterproof abilities. Maybe I may change my mind if you can actually address this issue and not just ignore the hundreds of posts you are getting about this issue.

The clock faces on the Charge 3 are very disappointing.  I had a Charge 2 for over 2 years and was able to see time, date, steps and heart rate.  This is not an option on Charge 3. There is not one clock face on Charge 3 that meets all of my needs.  As a developer of software myself, I would think this would be a relatively easy fix to make a lot of users happy.  As we call it in the development world, "low-hanging fruit".

Please reconsider offering all of the Charge 2 clock face options on Charge 3!

Just purchased two Charge 3’s as my last charge2 screen cracked and stopped working after a 1 year and a half....  so I thought I might buy a charge 3...  well the clock faces just down right suck.  It would be nice as well to be able to order what I want to see on my charge3!  I could limit what a I could rotate through on the charge 2 now I have to swipe through stuff I couldn’t care less to see....

I don't really need more clock faces.  I'd like the steps to be replaced with whatever you choose as your "main goal".  For me that's calories, so not having the clock faces be able to show calories (or flights or distance or etc.) was disappointing.

My friend recently showed me all of the clock faces that they have for the Fitbit versa and as soon as I saw them I said, we should have them on the charge 3. I think that the clock faces for the Fitbit versa are so much better because they have so many more options and have clock faces for different occasions such as Christmas and characters such as Mickey Mouse and many others. I think it would be cool to have all of the versa backgrounds now on the Fitbit. Also, another idea I had was that you could personalise your own background. Like you could get a photo from safari or something and put it as your background but the time would still be there. You could also take a photo of you or something and put it as your background but still with the time or clock or whatever. I would really enjoy if you did that as I think lots of people would too😊

I was really excited to buy a charge 3 but after reading review after review about the terrible clock face selections. I decided not to purchase. FitBit, fix the charge 3 clock face situation and I’ll buy one.

It's a great device for tracking and has very cool features, don't make your decision based on missing clock faces, the present ones are also good enough.

please add a watch face just like the one on the Charge 2 that has time, date, hr and steps.

Maybe as a jogger it works fine, I was hoping that they have fixed the step counts on Elliptical. C2 used to count my 3 miles into only one mile and now C3 counts my 45 minuets and 3 to 4 miles into only 3/4 of mile. Very disappointing. And plz don’t suggest to wear it better. I’ll not wear it tight around my wrist as it leaves a blister on my wrist

Day of week, day of month number, time and steps, and heart rate if it can for. I really don't need it to show month name. When it's December, I know it. Much more helpful to know day number and day of week.

So something like

i so want one, with both Steps and Heart Rate, with a Digital Clock and Month and Day like thwas Charge 2.

Pradeep1960 for steps to approximate distance, it needs to know your stride length, which on an elliptical may not be the same as walking.

Adding my 2 cents as well. Just replaced my Charge 2 for a Charge 3 and I really miss:

- Date

- Time (digital)

- HR

Would love if this clock face would come back and perhaps add number of steps as well.

That is correct, if you care about distance logged on the exercise machine. For myself, I just count steps and ignore distance; step counting with fitbit on ankle works for walking, recumbent cycling and recumbent exercise bike (for cycling one revolution equals one step). The exercise bike gives me and on the outdoor bike the Ionic gps or the Garmin Multisport gps gives me distance and tracks the route.  

I do like the stairs function with 1 flight per 10 ft elevation, whether actual stairs or a hill. Nice feature.

Totally agree! And not just the Charge 2 clock faces themselves, but the ability to edit which stats to include and in which order, just like the Charge 2.

Just bought myself a fitbit charge 3 and got disappointed by these clock faces. Honestly, you guys (fitbit team) did an awful job. I as developer myself can tell that if you struggle to imllement these faces as a hotfix, your product's design sucks.

It seems like the only role that moderators have on this forum is to move complaints about the Charge 3 clock faces into this forum, if they are posted elsewhere. Makes a person wonder. Are they making trying to keep a lid to people learning about how useless clock faces on the Charge 3 are?

Please tell us if the clock faces will be fixed or not. The Charge 3 has been out 2.5 months.  So many people have explained the numerous problems with the Charge 3 clock face. Is there a plan to fix them or not?  Please let us know, so we can make decisions about what to do. My aging Charge 2 is showing its age.
