More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I hope that's wrong! Only 3 parameters would be a disaster but it's looking more like that's the case. If so, I hope there's a fix.

My daughter has an apple watch and she's laughing at me. I was seduced by the battery life and don't need all the bells and whistles. Just the 4 basic items that I don't need to be tethered to my phone for.

And I can't have them.

Returned the Fitbit charge 3 before the return window expired. I looked the concept and the large selection of watchbands to give it different looks. But the lack of bring about to see what day of the week it is was a deal breaker for me. Also, the watch against my arm made a small oval intention where the charger connection is, and was uncomfortable over time.
 
I replaced it with a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch. Not as long of a battery life, but it is beautiful, has amazing customization, and I am thrilled with it! It has thousands of watch faces.

So I did the recent update today. Finally pleased with the watch faces! Now you can cycle through the different stats on the traditional faced face with the clock hands! Also they added more new looks!! 

Fitbit you should consider posting what’s coming in patches or what’s being considered in a locked forum that moderators/developers only update. Much of the backlash from customers would greatly decrease had you communicated better in the first place. 

Thank yiu you for taking the ideas and running with them however. I’m much happier than when I purchased this back in October!

OMG finally something usable... not the ideal, but usable... The only usable one is the "Charge 2 retro"

I truly don't understand why aren't there any other usable Clock Faces... 90% of what was introduced in the update are uselessss !!!! -or not readable, or not any relevance... 3D, Stacked, Interlaced... what are those ?!

Why is the retro compressed on the top of the screen and a big space and in the middle of the big space with small writing the info...

If there is so much space USE IT !!!!! - ex: Time, Month & #of day, WeekDayName, Data...

-- well at least it is usable now... more then before...

Still petty disappointing 😞 ...

What does the '?' and 'info' in the charge 2 retro face mean?

'info' would be the relevant information, ex: heart rate (number) or calories burned (number)

the '?' would be the sign (icon) for the information..

I just discovered the new clock faces. Thank you so much Developers for giving us the Charge 2 Retro face. That is the only one that is easy to read.  I'm loving it, I'm finally loving my Charge 3! Thank you!

I would like both steps and HR on the face like I was able to get with my Charge 2. This Charge 2 retro doesn't show the HR (unless you remove the steps).  Only the asymmetrical has the info I want

Charge 2 retro face : will I be able to customize the stats (for example to change from steps count to calories burn or to HR)

Yes: when the Charge 2 Retro is loaded if you tap on the screen it will change the info between: HR, cals, steps, distance, minutes, floors; and it will remain wherever you leave it. (-however you cannot have it displaying more then one information in the same time)

- 3D clock will do the same (info being on top of the screen: changing between: Date [MONTH day], steps, HR, cals, distance, floors, active minutes;

- Double Stat will have constant showing steps, hour, and the bottom of the screen can change between: Date [MONTH day], HR, cals, distance, floors, active minutes;

- Analog Stat will do the same as Double Stat, but with analog clock;

- Mod Clock will switch between: steps, HR, cals, distance, floors, active minutes on the top, and in the middle constant digital clock, on the bottom date [MONTH day];

- Interlaced will have constant the interlaced digital clock, and on the top selectable between: Date [MONTH day], steps, HR, cals, distance, floors, active minutes;

-- Mod Clock Date -- is the same as the Mod Clock, only it does not allow to select anything it has constantly: steps, clock, date... USLESS !!! - It is included in Mod Clock

Charge 2 retro is much better than before but it's still pretty poor, why can't we have steps and heart rate together on one screen? there is still a lot of wasted space also glad they don't have greyscale anymore it sounded ok but the screen is just not bright enough

I was perfectly fine with the Charge 3 analog clock face with steps and HR monitor, but after the latest firmware update the steps have been changed to a date. There is no need to replace old clock faces with new ones, even if the community is clamoring that they do not care for some of the options. Add new faces, so that those of us who prefer previous options can also be happy.

<rant> Now I'm stuck with a digital clock if I want to see steps and HR, which is simply terrible. </rant>

With the new analog face you can single tap and different stats are displayed

The tap feature is poorly thought out. Many of us don't care how many "flights of stairs" we've done per day. Half the time that's not even accurate. Yesterday mine told me I went up 150 flights when the prior days it was around 20-30 and I did nothing different yesterday.

I don't want to cycle through things I don't care about. I'd rather not see them at all.

The lack of customization and options available is laughable.

I never had a charge 2 only an Alta
I have been using the mod with date and like the design very much.
I tried the retro with steps and it’s plain and boxy looking but bright and easy to read.
I know you can tap to feature a different stat but hope I don’t find it switches unintentionally.
For me what works best is to try a face for at least a week before rejecting
The outdoor viewing is not an issue right now in Canada it’s winter so my wrist has too many layers covering it to view I rely on the vibrations to tell how far I’ve gone.

This is the first Fitbit Charge for me.  I asked Santa for new clock faces, and he delivered!  When I first checked them out, after the December update, I didn’t think much of them at face value... but, thanks to the comments on this site, I learned that on many of the new clock faces, you can tap to show different options.  I didn’t realize that!  Granted, I am still missing the WEEKDAY to go with the calendar date and a seconds screen but I am still hoping for those options can still be integrated. My favorite clock face now is the Charge 2 version (because it is missing the weekday, it is 60% OK for me). This Clock face is clear, easy to read and I can tap tap tap to get more info that I desire.  My least favorite is the 3D and Punctual because they are so hard for me to read!

Now this Charge 2 Clock face would be 100% OK with me IF they can add extra tap option for: 

• The day of the week
• a screen with a seconds dial.

To make it 110% OK, Fitbit needs to add the ability to change what options show when you tap tap tap, so I don’t have to see any that don’t apply to me.  

If the above can’t be on the main screen, using a tap option would be a very acceptable option for me!  OK Santa?  Maybe a New Years surprise?

Y'all must be sharp as a marble in your development department. All of these new clock faces and NOT ONE offering what most people are asking for. All I want for Christmas is a clock face with the following: a digital clock- on one line. The date. Steps. Heart rate. 4 important points of information. Each on their own line.

Does this spell it out clear enough? Such an easy concept offered in previous fitbits. If I can create this with my phone keyboard, imagine what your development team could do with software designed to create fitbit clock faces! Really, this is getting ridiculous. I still have a couple weeks to return my Fitbit Charge 3. It might be time to look into other fitness trackers....

Yes, I would like to see a clock face that shows time, date , steps and heart rate.  The Charge 2 Retro is an improvement but it should also show the HR.
