More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:charge 3 clock.png

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I got the charge 3 today. For clock faces, I would like:

a) same clock faces as charge 2

b) my favorite had time, date, steps per hour

Can I arrange the order of the tiles? If not, it would be great to bring that back. It's a nice device but the software doesn't appear to have the same software capabilities are the charge 2.

Thanks, Eric

I called Fitbit today to ask if any of the clock faces for the Charge 3 had day, date and time (this was before I checked the forums!)  The Fitbit customer service agent put me on hold to check and came back with "YES" the Charge 3 had a clock face with day, date & time.  REALLY????  Even Fitbit doesn't know what their various devices include!  UNBELIEVABLE!!!  I was going to buy one today but NOT NOW - and I think now  I need to check out other options besides Fitbit.  Pushing the Charge 2 face into the Charge 3 software would be easy - WHY haven't they done it????  Are the users NOT the MOST important part of their business???  This thread started a month and a half ago!!

Yeah got same thing a month ago when I called put me on hold like they don’t know a thing.then told me to come here.personally I think they just want us to vent here instead of to them in person.Thank goodness I didn’t get rid of my charge 2 and give to a friend.

Is this ageism? When I was younger I could see the itty bitty font and see
better in the dark. Maybe they want to appeal to younger crowd and felt
like oversized or bold digital readouts looked like Readers Digest large
print? Too geriatric. It would be nice to know if they follow this thread.
Some day the product engineers who made the decision to leave us behind
will be over 60 too and understand what happens to vision with age.

I agree I think the charge 3 clocks are rubbish compared to the charge 2.

They were good, you could see all the details you needed, time in a normal format, date, steps and heart rate is larger format so you could actually read them while running.

i have had a charge hr, charge 2 and now charge 3 and for the first time since getting the charge 3 I have looked at what Garmin options there are.

I am really looking forward to purchase charge 3 for me and spouse but what's holding us back is the clock face. Please include face similar to Charge 2 especially the time, date, calories burn, bpm. Please!

Please someone enlighten me.. Was the recent new faces rollout include one with the date + time + calories + heart rate? Thank you..

Has anyone looked at the Amazfit Bip as an alternative to the Charge 3? I believe it has a watch face editor. It's waterproof, and light. (My charge 2 feels heavier by the day.) It lacks the Relax feature, but Fitbit doesn't have plans to add the results from the Relax feature to the dashboard interface. The big downside for me is that the Bip has GPS. I don't like the idea of being on an electronic leash all the time.

Reluctantly, I'm also intrigued by the Amazfit Bip. I have similar
reservations about on-board GPS,...I don't want it. Also, I prefer a
smaller watch face.

That said, I truly, simply, want a Charge 2...with a slightly larger
display and the water-resistance of the Charge 3.

Is this truly too much to ask? The products are otherwise almost identical
otherwise.

It's been over a month Fitbit. Please give us an update?

Currently, it seems like Fitbit could care less about its customers...over
a thousand posts...no update? Seriously?

I'm torn between hoping Charge 3 makes minor improvements or Amazfit Bip
makes major improvements. So far, still waiting, but my money's on
Amazfit.

Fittbit seems irrationally fat and happy...unwilling or unable to respond
to minor customer concerns / complaints.

By contrast, Amazfit seems hungry. Sad 😞

I'll continue, for a bit longer, to hope. By New Year, I'll buy something
swim-resistant. I still hope it will be Charge 3.

I wish anyone was listening. Fitbit? I doubt it. Better off screaming
into an empty type paper bag.

Last post on this topic, on this thread...simply ignored, despite over a
thousand posts.

Instead, I'll start new, more specific, separate threads, referencing this
one.

Hopefully, then, they'll remember this thread still exists.

I love that Amazfit Bip has GPS, it also has a 30 day battery life, and it’s more cost effective.

The charge 3 is my 4th fitbit, I was going to switch my charge 3 for a versa but Fitbit hasn’t acknowledged this thread at all which makes me think they are no longer the brand they once were,  even when calling they don’t even pretend to try to address our concerns. @SantiR @MarreFitbit

We are asking for something they already provide on a downgraded product so I don’t think we are being unreasonable. Therefore, the Amazfit Bip May be the best option, even CNET loves it.  Anyhow, here are the specs for Amazfit Bip for anyone else who is interested.

TECHNICAL SPECS

Always-on reflective 1.28 inch color touch display
2.5D Corning gorilla glass generation 3 + AF coating

This could be all politics. The person(s) responsible for these design
flaws/deficits could be so entrenched and unwilling to admit their mistakes
that they just hope this all fades before it catches up with them. Write a
review for Runner’s World. That’s how you deal with this.

Asking for more clock/watch faces for the Charge 3 misses the important point that we all use our Fitbits slightly differently.

For example, we can choose our main goal.

Therefore, we all want different stats displayed at a glance.

So adding more faces would only be useful if there are loads to choose from.

Customization is a better way to go and has been suggested (see below) - please vote for it!

I heartily agree with the Charge 2 users who've upgraded to a Charge 3 and miss the simpler, bolder Charge 2 displays.  The Charge 2 clock faces are MUCH more readable -- especially outdoors.  It'd be great to have some Charge 2-like clock options for the 3.

The Charge 3 watch faces are a huge disappointment.  Fitbit devs need to either add some Charge 2-like options or a customizable option that lets you choose three stats for the face, with a choice of boldness.   But the good news is that it's programmable, and the display has more pixels available, so it seems likely that with sufficient user feedback, along with design input from some UX specialists, this concern ought to be easily resolved.

Charge3. Allow User Customisation or what I think would be valuable is two faces with only either Steps/HR or Distance/HR so that the data is big enough to read while running or walking. Please !!!

If anyone is considering the amazfit bip keep in mind that the app is very slimmed down and had limited functionality compared to fitbit. I had the cor and hubs has the bip. Weather never worked for me (iphone) heart rate was not great like 5 mins into a class it still said im in the "relaxed" heart rate zone, exercise options are very limited, no all day calorie tracking, no food log, no water log, no stairs count, no female tracking. I dont think it had app intergration like how I can log food in my fitness pal and it shows up in fitbit ect. I submitted a bug report and got an email back in Chinese.  Anyway if a pretty watch face with limited tracking (sleep, weight, heart rate, steps) is all you need then then go for it.

Please include the same faces as the Charge 2 had.

@SantiR

Are you able to give us a time frame on when more clock faces will be available and maybe some idea of what they will include? "Soon" could mean anything. I would like to know if its days, weeks, months because I literally  check every day if there are new clock faces available. Ive had my Charge 3 since they were release and there is still no basic watch face that has a date, time, heart rate and steps. None have a day of the week. Heck there isn't even a digital clock with date and heart rate The selection is just so bad and its making a poor impression on new or potential new customers.
