More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

Exactly. The only option that show steps, heart rate, and time is ugly and very bright at night.

@mommabeany let me be clear about something, adding a date or other useful info is NOT a zero-sum game, so there is no need to blame the date as the cause of the horrible clock faces currently available. it is simply bad UX design for the clock faces and other features on charge 3, it does not prohibit Fitbit from giving us what we both need.

When I got my first FitBit, I was impressed with the responsiveness of their customer service. I called about some issues with my latest FitBit and was disappointed with the dismissive attitude of the rep I contacted. It seems that FitBit now feels that because of their market share, they can ignore their customers’ concerns and they will still keep buying. If this attitude continues, I am thinking I will need to explore options from another company which will value, not dismiss their customers.

So, I had the charge 2 for 2 years, but I cracked the screen and finally decided to upgrade. I got a Versa, but the battery life is really disappointing me.. I'm thinking about getting the charge 3 instead, but lack of useful clock faces is bothering me. Is there no option that displays weather and date? The one thing I really like about the versa is all of the available clock faces.. but charging it every 2 days is REALLY annoying...

Yes. I think the watch faces need the date and can you make watch face that shows the numbers on an analog clock and not just lines? That would be helpful.

I'm bewildered by the lack of highly readable watch faces. While exercising or otherwise engaged, uts not unreasonable to expect visibility when looking at the device. Small, narrow greyscale fonts, coupled with a superfast blackout time. C'mon,  Fitbit.

I just received a £20 discount offer from Fitbit to upgrade my Charge 2 to Charge 3 but there are numerous complaints and poor reviews of the “3” both on the Fitbit Community pages and on Amazon. Most of these relate to reliability and performance which seems to be an issue with them”3” but the clock face, which is what one looks at most often, seems to miss the point. On my “2” I have Time, Date, Steps and heartbeat all on one screen.  It seems this is not possible with the “3”, why not? I’m not inclined to upgrade and spend £100 for a bunch of problems.

@eaglesnest No, it's not possible yet to have all 4 of those readouts on the screen at one time. Maybe fitbit is working on it. None of us knows. 

I will say that the heart rate monitor is definitely unreliable. Today I did a manual monitoring of a treadmill WALK and the Charge 3 said I was consistently in the high 180s or low 190s. Peaking at 193. This is impossible. When I run I max out at 170 and I wasn't running on the treadmill. I did not have the Charge 3 strapped on too tightly as the directions request it to have room to move on the arm. 

Also the accelerometer isn't detecting my steps until I've been going for 10 or more steps. Therefore I'm not getting step credit while working in my kitchen or just walking across a room. 

Lot's of problems with this Charge 3. They are sending me a new one arriving tomorrow. I hope I just have a defect, but I somehow doubt it.

Good idea to wait. I was very happy with my Charge 2. I only bought the Charge 3 because it’s waterproof.

Totally agree add alt least the Charge 2 clock face showing time, date, steps and bp.  In that order as on Charge 2.  Having had 3 Fitbits was very disappointed with the Charge 3.  If you don’t or can’t do above in fonts that you can see easily then I will have to look elsewhere.  I like my Charge 2 with all features, I don’t want to have to swipe to see the above listed info.

Yes, bring back the Charge 2 options and add more, if you want, but don’t take away the previous options!!!

Please put the Charge 2 UX/UI design team back on for Charge 3. It appears that Charge 3 UI goes out of the way to make us click more things to get the same things done in Charge 2. One of many examples, Exercises...Weight.. Start...Let's go, why the heck do we need to click Let's go when I already clicked Start, this is totally unnecessary! There are several other Charge 3 UI/UX gripes that aren't present with Charge 2.

Totally agree. I only switched to Charge 3 because it was waterproof. Preferred the using the Charge 2.

So what is it with the really bad clock faces on the charge 3 ? I really like the ones for the charge 2. why can`t we have a couple that have the time, date, steps & heart rate? They did the retro charge 2 but it only has the time, date, and steps. In order to get the heart rate you have to tap the screen so it rolls to the heart rate. Then you have to keep tapping the screen to roll thru all the other stuff to get back to the steps so it is on the first face. What is that all about?? You now have a screen that is 40 percent bigger and no clock faces that have time, date, steps, and heart rate on it?? Time & date go hand in hand , just like steps & heart rate go hand in hand. You take steps to get your heart rate up to burn calories. So it is good to be able to see your heart rate.
