I have had a One for 3 years now and love it but am a bit disappointed that some features are not available on it (e.g.. active mins per hour etc). Please can you make a new clip on fitbit with more features. I really don't want a wrist one at all.
So, I just printed the return label to return the Flex2 back to Amazon. I just cannot justify the money spent on something that is not accurate. My cell phone does a more accurate job in counting my steps. Sad, but true.
I hope Fitbit considers bringing back the One! Until then, I'm done buying Fitbits. 😞
Hi. I’m a loyal everyday one user because I love how it clips on my clothes. It would be wonderful to see a new or upgraded clip on to clothes device that does all the cool things the new wrist devices have such as heart rate, Bluetooth music storage, gps etc. I don’t like things on my wrists and would definitely buy an upgraded or new clip on to clothes device! Love my device ❤️
Me too! But I've noticed that as soon as they see it's related to the One, they shut down the thread and tell us to go to one common one. We get no response from anyone with any real authority or with any real intention of considering our request. 😞
I'm sorry to say that it seems that Fitbit's powers-that-be just want us to shut up and buy wrist devices. The fact that some of us can't wear them (and others have better taste than to wear them) doesn't seem to enter into it: A great device has been wantonly killed.
Well, my One seems to be getting tired and I refuse to wear anything on my wrist. And it is quite evident that FitBit does not seem to care about users of clip on tackers. Being in marketing, I have found the best way to draw attention is through social media. Maybe if we start hitting them on Facebook and Twitter and tagging them, it will force their hand to respond. Just a thought.
Not sure if this helps, but I have tried the Vivofit3, the Nokia Go, and the Misfit flash. The first two, when compared to the Fitbit Charge 2 (I really wanted a fitbit device after my One died and my backup One did not work, so I bought the Charge 2) and I find the Misfit Flash tracks the closest. At the end of the day it is 800 to 1200 steps different. The other two when worn side by side differ in counts and will differ by at 1000 to 1500 from the fitbit. The Charge, while nice doesn't track activity after I take it off. I can't put it in my pocket (although I bought a protective sleeve off Amazon so I could take the band off and carry in my pocket - never modified the protective sleeve), when I am working around the house. I just don't want something on my wrist all the time. One thing that is a shortcoming, besides the accurate count that was built into the One and Ultra, is that none of the devices I mention will track floors.
Did someone say Fitbit has never offered a pocket tracker? Then what's that thing in my pocket that counts steps, stairs climbed, etc.? Is it an alien? If fitbit wants me to advertise their product, bundle a jacket with the One and I'll wear it. But I will never wear a watch!
Just posted the following on Twitter: "@fitbit Hey Fitbit, when are you going to respond to the comments on you web site? We're asking for a replacement for the Fitbit One since there are a lot of loyal users who can't or won't wear a wrist mounted tracker. #replacetheOne"
@*fitbit* when are you going to replace the ONE? There a tons and tons of us that want and need a ONE replacement... the ZIP does not cut it the ZIP is a joke of a tracker. We aren't even asking for added features! #*replacetheOne*
Glad to see everyone is taking to social media. Maybe we will start getting their attention. I posted to their Facebook page and they responded with a link to check out their line of products. Had to respond back stating that their line of products does not contain the One. Also posted on Twitter which I will post again.
Fitbit doesn't care, folks. The little interaction so far has been very disappointing. Wall Street has not been kind to Fitbit either and the very laughable attack on Apple on overtaking them in fitness devices! Comedy. The company is self-imploding similar to the Planet Vulcan did in Star Trek. Soon, it'll be on the wall of "that was a good idea but they didn't change".
