I have had a One for 3 years now and love it but am a bit disappointed that some features are not available on it (e.g.. active mins per hour etc). Please can you make a new clip on fitbit with more features. I really don't want a wrist one at all.

I agree with you and all the other “Agreed” posts.
If that IS true that they sold the One patent, maybe they could tell us who bought it. Fitbit has made it pretty clear they aren’t worried about our business. If they disclose the buyer’s name, we could pester THAT company with some hope of success.
I have to be "Bare Below" the elbow for work, therefore a clip-on tracker is the only option for me on work days where I can easily manage 20,000 steps. My FitBit One died in a 60 Degree C Wash and now there is not an alternative.
I've been using a Fitbit (first Ultra, then One) since 2012 and am dreading the day my One finally dies. I really enjoy the size and versatility of the One. I have a number of "fashion watches" I wear on my left arm, depending on the outfit, and many different bracelets to wear on my right arm. I like being able to tuck my Fitbit One into a pocket or on my bra and not have it show.
I agree with those who suggest an improved model be made waterproof. I'd like to be able to wear my Fitbit in the pool.
Hoping our voices will be heard!! PLEASE BRING BACK A CLIP ON TRACKER!
Agreed! I seemed to have lost the ability to vote but I am still holding out hope that they will either tell us who has the patent or bring out a One-2.
Please bring back the Fit Bit One. My constant companion for the last last five year and three replacements clips fell off my clothing yesterday and I accidently ran over it with my lawn mower not realising it had come off. I don't like the wrist ones and the One suited me perfectly. I am gutted that this has happened and it seems it cannot be replaced with like. Disappointing so please, I vote to bring it back.
Dear Fitbit: You know many customers are upset that the One was discontinued. You also know that many of those customers could not wear your wrist trackers due to various allergies and medical issues that arose from them. Many of us are seeking other options. Brand loyalty only works when corporations consider their customer's needs. I only found out the One was discontinued today when my husband contacted technical support due to a problem with his One. He was told he was outside of the warranty and needed to purchase a new One, but was given a discount code. The support representative didn't even tell him it was discontinued, we discovered this by not finding a One on your website and then exploring the forums. I hope you revise the One, but if not, that's okay, many other companies are creating activity trackers these days.
Fitbit One was an excellent device, so much better than the zip. Many people do want a discrete clip on. VERY ACCURATE vs all the complaints I see for “hand movement steps” . Please bring it back!
fit bit never listens to what customers want. there were about a million agreements when we wanted the ability to edit activities RETURNED, not a NEW FEATURE. That was 3 years ago, good luck getting FITBIT to listen or read this thread. I love my FB ONE CLIP ON, quit the goofy zip, support the ONE. Oh well Im spitting in the wind again.
Hello @Barbmit! Thanks for sharing this suggestion, I moved it to this similar post so you can add your vote to it. Please keep sharing your ideas with us!
Two more votes! ( I can't seem to vote anymore, but we are all still looking for a way to get a One two. I am just hoping some entrepreneurial techie loses his One and launches his own business.
Completely horrified to find out you have discontinued the One. The only decent non-wrist tracker in the line up - plenty of choice for those who want a wrist type tracker, but virtually none now for the rest of us. The Zip doesn't cut it, sorry; it's like a child's tracker. My One has been awesome and is still going strong after over 4 years and customer support on it has also been great. I am even more disappointed, as I only recently got an Aria scale, so I feel tied to a brand now that I am unlikely to be able to purchase a tracker from when mine dies. With all the comments here, I don't know how Fitibit can justify deleting this model. My husband was about to buy a One - he wouldn't dream of wearing anything on his wrist, so he won't be getting a tracker at all now. Really, really, really disappointed in you, Fitbit 😞😞😞
Bring FitBit ONE back!! I know you don't have plans to do so but some of us don't like things on our wrists. I have the Charge HR, Alta and Flex and LOVE MY ONE THE MOST!!! The "watch" type offerings are masculine looking and not professional - they aren't the look I'm going for in a business meeting. Yes, I have multiple watchbands I've purchased to dress them up but the faces on the watches are not elegant. When really dressed up - they are out of the question. I just take my One, clip it to my bra and I can be in a dress, evening gown or whatever. It's inconspicuous. The Zip is clunkier than the One. How about getting rid of the Zip and keeping the One? That's my .02 for the day. Thanks for listening!
I cannot wear a wrist tracker due to metal plates in my arm. I have had the One for 6 years now (cracked the screen 4 years ago). I keep hoping they will come out with a new one that I don’t have to take off when I swim.
I love the Fitbit products. And have used them since 2013. Went from Fitbit One to Fitbit Zip to Fitbit Charge 2.
But loved Fitbit One the most! It was easiest to use, discreet, no issues with charging either.
Did not like Zip because I was replacing batteries every month since this was not rechargeable. The Charge 2 I don't like because I don't like wearing anything on my wrist and it is too bulky to sleep with.
Yes absolutely agree with you that zip is a joke. And I absolutely hate wearing anything on my wrist. I hope they bring it back The ones selling on Amazon are at a ridiculous price of $298!
Fitbit just lost another customer. My friend's out of warranty One died and like many, she does not wish to wear a wrist device and also considers the Zip to be inferior. Because of my poor experience with the Versa, it's likely I will be leaving the Fitbit family when my One dies.
Hey All, I totally agree about needing a new clip tracker, or resurrecting the One. But with all the new posts recently...just wanted to share, if it helps that I tried to give up my FitBit and it really does help.
On a tip from another poster here, I bought a Charge HR, and then fit it in third party clips designed for the Garmin Vivofit, purchased on Amazon. It’s bulkier than the One (and just not the same), but I can clip it, and seems accurate to me if you’re not using the heart rate monitor.
I guess I gave up on FitBit caring about devoted users who cannot or will not wear a wrist tracker =( Repeated inquiries about what comparable product they have to offer to people with disabilities or medical conditions go unanswered. Just like in most of the rest of our lives, we need to hack things on our own when most things are designed for “abled” people. Sigh.
I am not against adapting something to clip myself, but it doesn't look like they're still selling the Charge HR.
And I'm not too keen on spending $150 for the Charge 3 (the only Charge model they have now), when I'm not confident that it will be as accurate as the One in clip on mode. I do love some of the features the new model offers, especially the waterproof aspect, but isn't it still based on arm swing for it to register steps? How well does that really translate into a clip on?
What I would LOVE is to get a Charge 3 and mod it to clip, and wear both at the same time to compare. But I don't see that happening.
