Pregnancy setting/mode for more accurate data

Necessary:

Logging a pregnancy is a must, as is the ammenorheic period due to breastfeeding.  These drastically affect predictions making the app useless for many.  Eg. I have entered my data since 2011.  My periods are like clock work occurring every 27 days... but I have had 4 pregnancies in that time so the app is telling me that my peiods average every 104 days.

Useful:

Option to add basal body temp and ovulation data (eg. predictor strip).

Woman need a way to log pregnancy in order to accurately assess caloric intake and weight gain. There should be a pregnancy mode or some way for Fitbit to know when you are pregnant. Please!! This would help immensely!!!

I got a Fitbit to keep track of my heart rate while pregnant. When I got my versa I was surprised to see that you can track cycles but not pregnancy! It would be a really nice feature if I could log my pregnancy.

The ability to tell the app you are pregnant or breastfeeding so it can calculate calories etc accordingly

It really doesn't make sense to me that in the female heath category of the app that there's an ovulation test, fluids, fertility and contraceptive tick list but no option to select pregnancy.

Please, please add this as a tick button we can select.

Thank you

@Lucielockett Thank you for your suggestion about adding a pregnancy tick button.

I moved it to this thread to maintain this board organized and because it is the same idea.

Please please please add a way of recording pregnancy in the app. I get regular notifications that my period is due to start and my stats on period are going to be all over by the time I have given birth and finished breastfeeding so the feature will be useless. Plus, there are so many other things linked to it within the app:

- heart rate increases (mine has gone from 62 to 86) so looks like my fitness has dropped off a cliff

- I think my increased heart rate has affected what my sleep score is and my sleep is now worse anyway

- weight gain - help me track a healthy pregnancy weight gain please

- calorie intake - again help pregnant and breast feeding mums track this

I’d also suggest a way of adding in bbt so the ovulation feature is more accurate and adding in other things that may affect a users cycle length such as fertility treatments.

Since I became pregnant, I’ve pretty much stopped using my Fitbit as it’s features are useless without being able to record pregnancy.

Hello,

Will you please consider adding a pregnancy feature. When pregnant your bpm goes up, and I am unable to run as I used to. Due to this, it says I am in poor health, which is not the case.

It's very discouraging and makes me not want to use the app anymore.

Thanks! Jennifer

I would like to see where I can put being pregnant and breast feeding and the calorie intake for these things. How you feel that day during your pregnancy, where you are at in the pregnancy.

I recently found out I was pregnant and it’s driving me insane that I can’t add this to the female heath tracker. Instead I keep getting messages telling me to update my cycle & telling me that deleting a cycle entirely is not an option.

YES! Drives me absolutely crazy! I don't understand how the morning after pill is worth tracking but not pregnancy?! You can add birth control, but not BIRTH?

I love that I can track my cycle in the app instead of needed a different app for that but we need the option to add pregnancy to the cycle tracker! It’s been over a year since this has been suggested to you and it’s still not available? I have to delete my periods, which isn’t easy to do, each month. Why is it taking this long to add this option? When I did a search it said it wasn’t currently planned. Why not? I think giving birth is a pretty important part of life and health. It should be an option.

The app should be more user friendly to pregnant and breastfeeding women. we have been asking for this for 5+ years and it should be taken into consideration again! Calorie counts, female tracking, sleeping habits, every point of what the Fitbit tracks is effected by pregnancy and it should accommodate to this aspect of the female users life as well!!!
