Recovery/ Injured / Sick mode or required rest

I had a nasty cold all week so of course I am only at about 50% on most goals, and it brings my average way down. I wish there was a way to hit "Pause" on your counting so you can focus on getting healthy and continue on your goals when you are better.

A calendar for tracking health similar to the menstrual calendar. I want to be able to tell Fitbit when I'm sick so it doesn't necessarily prompt me to have a heavy cardio day. It would be cool to be able to log specific symptoms. I also would like to have a running log and data surrounding when I'm sick with either a cold or something more serious

Hi @Samhalase, we wanted to let you know that the ideas you recently posted already exist on the Product Feedback Board. You can see them here where you can add your vote to those existing product feedback:

I would like to see a feature within the app that tells it or the device when a user KNOWS that they need a break or time off. Feeling ill, in pain, exhausted beyond what sleep tracking might suggest, etc.

I wanted to suggest a feature I believe would make a huge difference for users, especially those navigating menstrual cycles, chronic illness, injury, or burnout. This would be a temporary setting that users could activate when they’re not feeling their best—such as during their period or while recovering from illness or exhaustion.

We all have days when we need to rest or recover from injury. Other trackers allow people to designate these days as rest days. Fitbit doesn't and the result is you could, for example, be in hospital with a leg in traction and you get the snide and shaming pop-up saying that you are "at risk of under training"

We need to start being able to take days off, and to tell our trackers that we're sick or injured. I shouldn't be getting kudos because my resting heart rate of 150bpm has put me in the ER, or nagged because my nerve damage or a broken bone has prevented me from working out.

A needed feature for sure!

I also agree and when we have servers period pain and feel really tired I shouldn’t have a 88 ready score!

Yes, please! I have several health conditions that impact heart rate, energy levels, pain, etc and it would be nice to not have Fitbit congratulating me for my tachycardia or urging me to do more when I literally can’t.

I have walked almost every day for months, years. This past week I wasn't feeling well and took two days off. Fitbit tells me I am at risk of losing my fitness level, as if i'm training. Fitbit also added the cardio load thing with no way for a person to figure how they get that information. For me, i need the formula they use so I can figure it out on my own. I am 70 years old and have been walking 8-10 miles a day for 6 years. There are days that I walk very fast, then Fitbit expects me to do that every day and adds more and more to the cardio load.

I have always loved the Fitbit until this past year, with the challenges and the cardio load and telling me what to do. Yes I should ignore it right? I sound like a crazy person , but that's the fault of it Fitbit!

There needs to be an option to log when I'm sick with a cold or flu. It keeps telling me I'm at risk of under training, and boosts my cardio number higher each day.  I'm sick!  I can't do that right now.  Please add a feature to record sickness 🤧
