Repeating / re-occurring Challenges Option

It would be great if the challenges such as workweek hustle, weekend warrior etc. could have an option where you set it up as a "repeat" challenge, rather than having to manually rematch at the end of each challenge - I have the same groups wanting to do the challenges week in and out and its REALLY annoying to have to remember to hit 'rematch' at the end of each challenge - opt in and out could be made available in these options, but to be able to just continue to match each week would be really handy!

It would be nice to see challenges recurring instead of having to accept or create a new challenge everytime a person wants to participate.

Hello, my guess is that if you look into Google searches, you will find much more interest in ability to automatically renew challenges. Can you share with us if there is even discussion going on regarding this feature?

Please add this feature, competition is one of the best motivators and a manual reset makes it more likely people stop using their fitbit.

I understand why this isn't the default behavior.  I'd be willing to bet that 99% of challenges get remade week after week.

A thousand times this.  I've been in the same work week challenge for a couple years now, and every time Monday comes around we panic a little if someone has forgotten to tap Rematch.

 

This week we had the issue that I tried to do a Rematch, but then the challenge got into this weird state where the Rematch button went away, but the new challenge wasn't showing for anyone.  Having a recurring challenge would work around this issue as well.

Honestly, I’m surprised this feature doesn’t exist, it’s super basic.  It is incredibly easy to implement, and it will make a lot of ppl happy.  The lack of it seems to be doing the opposite— why spend time adding brand new features before finishing the core ones?

Is it possible to get an update from Fitbit on this since the last update was 2 years ago?

 

It doesn't seem like it should be that hard to add an option to auto-rematch on a challenge when creating it.
