Rowing/Stationary Rowing Machine Exercise Shortcut

Considering most of the important cardio equipment is represented in the Exercise list, I think it's more than justifiable to add a stationary rowing machine to the list. Almost every gym in America contains at least one or more Concept 2 rower as it is a total body and low impact method of Cardio. It's one of my favorites and I'm sure I am not the only user that is a bit disappointed that is not represented.

Just received a Versa 2 and I'm stunned that Fitbit still does not include rowing as an activity as of 2020 with such a large demand. And I don't care about workarounds. Seems Fitbit doesn't care that much about their community and what they have to say.

Luckily, I can return the Versa 2 and that is exactly what I will do tomorrow...

I have a Fitbit Ionic and it doesnt register my rowing on the Concept 2 machine...how can I make this happen?

Hi @Paddler27. Thanks for sharing this suggestion! While there isn't an option to record Stationary Rowing Machine with your Ionic, I've found a similar request which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can check this other suggestion here. Keep adding your suggestions!

I know this is super frustrating. I just asked a question, years ago, and
ended up at the "head" of this post/blog/FitBit Community. I have no ideas,
I'm getting no solutions, I get no feedback from FitBit.

There are some pretty obscure forms of exercise among the exercise shortcuts, but no "rowing machine"? It's a very popular and effective form of exercise. Can we have that added to the list?

Hi, @Fitbit folks.   Please vote if you want me to consider buying a Fitbit that doesn't recognize a rower. I may consider this after 5 years of votes.  In the mean time I'm going to do something more interesting with something more useful.

Is there any way to ad the Elliptical and the rower to the exercise icon? I do not swim or bike but I do the elliptical and the rower and would like them to be counted.
