Samsung Health & Fitbit integration

Can we please have something that syncs our fit bit stats with our S Health stats? It's annoying to have multiple fitness platforms especially now that androids are becoming more and more popular as are fitness apps. It would be nice to do it all from one place.

Is there a solution to this yet. The message boards say solved with a link to this page but I dont see a solution. I would like to get a fitbit but Im not wasting the money if it will not sync with what I already use, i.e. S-Health

@Spiritmaster no I don't believe there is a solution and no I don't think there will be one anytime soon. Fitbit seems to be prioritizing other things over what is clearly the needs of their users apparently their money is better spent on advertising around the world then actually making their devices more compatible with other devices, services and software. Anyways yeah.... If nobody FROM fitbit has commented on this thing, and if they do they'll just say this isn't a priority, then I don't think it's gonna happen. Maybe in a year or twos time but from what I've seen less than 10% of any of the really useful ideas actually get implemented on here. It would cost them money to implement anything that would both get them more users and happier users.... Their a business, they try to save money so if someone offers them something easy and simple generally they'll implement it. This would take more man hours time and money than I guess they'd like to spend even though they could then market themselves toward another entire user base make more and probably get a ton more customers. We all must simply wait and see.

There is a new app, Fit and Healthy Jason Lo that will sync Fitbit steps/weight with the S-Health app. I have found that it fills part of the void for me. As it is a new app, I am sure changes and upgrades will only make it better. This app was approved by the S-Health people

Please count my vote!  I just got a Samsung Gear 2.  Its amazing! But I love all things Fitbit as well.  It would be great if my Gear 2 could sync to my Fitbit.

What what what ????  Did you update either app ?  I have updated all, rebooted Galaxy S6 Edge + and no notification.  Is it April Fools day ?

Cant be true.

I dont think Fitbit will allow us to use S Health as that itself as a tracker...It means people wont even need to spend money on Fitbit anymore as everyone will use their phones to record the steps... think about it...

They will loose money, it will never happen

There is a fairly new app called Fit and Healthy by Jason Lo that will sync
Fitbit steps / weight with the S-Health app. Like I said it's newer and
has had some kinks but the developer is great and wants to work them out.
I love it. Check it out and see if it fills the gap for you.

Oh it's allowing Hydro Coach to sync with Fitbit, S Health and Google Fit. If you go into the settings of Hydro Coach, select connections (connect with partner apps), then you can allow it to communicate with Fit Bit. You are able to pick and choose what to share drinks and weight stuff. Well at least part of the problem is fixed.

I would love to use my S Health tracker to post statistics to my Fitbit account.

S-Health into Fitbit is what I need as well. My organization does insurance discounts on activity goals, based on tracking via Fitbit. S Health is for my use just because it works better and is more usable to me. Getting data from Fitbit to S Health is almost pointless for me. I need it all in Fitbit for my employer, and my phone is the one device I always have with me.

So I guess at this point even if Fitbit just used the sensors on my phone instead of requiring a second device for data logging it would be better.

I just bought my Alta, thinking that it must be able to sync with S-Health already... 😞 This makes me a little sad, so like everyone else here, we'd really love to see the 2 work seamlessly together! Thanks for hearing us...

I own a Samsung Galaxy S7 currently. Since my phone comes with the app S Health already, I would like to be able to sync S Health with my Fitbit tracker because it's always more accurate because my phone isn't always in my pocket.

Should be an outstanding idea that those 2 could be sync
