Samsung Health & Fitbit integration

Can we please have something that syncs our fit bit stats with our S Health stats? It's annoying to have multiple fitness platforms especially now that androids are becoming more and more popular as are fitness apps. It would be nice to do it all from one place.

I'd like to vote for this as well.  Please let us sync our fitbit data with the s health app.

I love my fitbit.  But it would be really great if the Fitbit app would sync with the Samsung S Health app.  That would keep alot of users from having to do double entry. Or even having to pick one app over the other.  They both good as individual apps but it would make them both GREAT if they would be able to sync with one another.

If Samsung Health and fitbit are not currently compatible then I would also like to cast a vote for this. My girlfriend just got me a fitbit alta and I have Samsung Galaxy Note 5 that I have been using to track my data on the Samsung health app. It would truly be splendid if they worked together.

PLEASE!  Make this happen, there are so many things shealth can do.  Why not have shealth sync with Fitbit and vice versa?  I have many Fitbit products but I require more functionality.

Thank You

At 1300 people want this and still nothing

I can't believe it's almost Christmas of 2017 and they have not done this yet. I was going to ask for a new Fitbit for Christmas but I guess I'll have to get the Gear Fit. They cost about the same and you get pretty much the same features. I just have loved my Fitbit for so long. I guess the party's over.

I would love to be able to link Samsung Gear / Samsung Health app to my Fitbit app. I really love my Fitbit but am finding the Gear to provide greater access to my emails etc but would like to use it as a "Fitbit".

What's the problem. Why the hell you guys doing this!! Why don't you integrate with S Health. People love fitbit than anything else. You will lose customers if you continue this. Why should we buy fitbit, when S Gear is supporting everything?? Pls consider this and take appropriate decision. Customer stisfaction is the most important thing in any business growth.

B1pierre hit the nail on the head and explained exactly why fitbit integration with S Health won't happen:

"I was going to ask for a new Fitbit for Christmas but I guess I'll have to get the Gear Fit."

They expect people to adopt their hardware in order to use their software.

Personally, the only attraction of S Health is the fact that it's in my face every time I open my phone.

I like my fitbit, find the fitbit app perfectly adequate and can resign myself to the idea that S Health will always be redundant on my device.

@pcwells It's still fairly short-sighted of any company with fitness hardware (not just FitBit) to refuse integration on that basis; people don't always stick to one hardware brand anymore, not for fitness devices or for phones. I have an Aria scale and previously had a FitBit Charge HR, so I used the FitBit app almost exclusively. I'm now trying out a Gear Fit 2 and might try something else next... or switch back to FitBit, who knows?.

The Samsung Health app has a bunch of other recording options like blood pressure and blood sugar that FitBit doesn't, and having to switch back and forth between the apps isn't the end of the world, but it would make life easier to simply allow FitBit/Health to share data.

At the end of the day, it's our health data and it belongs to us. We can manually copy it across apps, or companies like FitBit can understand that making it easier for us isn't a bad business decision and implement this requested feature.

I vote for S Health sync capabilities to and from FitBit.

I would love fitbit to integrate with the Samsung Health app. My bf has a Samsung and I would love to be able to do challenges with him as well as my fitbit friends. He keeps telling me to get a Samsung but I do love the fitbit so Please make this happen.

Due to 2 fitbits dying out of warranty i switched to Samsung gear. love the device but miss the fitbit competing. and my Area scale is obsolete. debating to buy a different scale or maybe fitbit can become compatible. shouldn't be to hard (not 2 years worth of debating). a 3rd party sync app could work too for the developers out there. a new scale is $100, so i'd definitely pay $10 for a simple sync app.
