Samsung Health & Fitbit integration

Can we please have something that syncs our fit bit stats with our S Health stats? It's annoying to have multiple fitness platforms especially now that androids are becoming more and more popular as are fitness apps. It would be nice to do it all from one place.

Would love to see this aswel. I think it has a lot of a potential user database. So possible, you can make alot of people happy with this integration!

So many folks have samsung phones with this great app. It would be awesome for them to communicate with each other!

Indeed, i'm wondering as well what the status is.

An extra advantage now is that the S-Health app is in the appstore, thus making it work on all Android Smartphones! (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.shealth)

It's really strange there is still no integration with Fitbit. This should be a prio for development..

As I look to find ONE place to pull together the various health information being tracked by various devices, S Health has the potential to be that place...

If only they would integrate with Fitbit.  🙂

This is such a basic function, why it is taking so much of time??

For something to take as long as this you would think they are making a whole new system. Get this thing going already. Does fit bit even look at these feature requests.

I also agree. This would be great especially when your flex runs out of battery you could switch to your phone to keep your count. Thanks for letting us share!

I think we got plenty of votes already and a huge potential untapped database. Why isn't there any action from Fitbit yet?

@LucyAP

As you are the moderator of this thread, is it possible to give of a progress overview/status update of this 'ticket'? Or how does this work? - what are the next steps?

I want to throw my voice behind this. It is the only think keeping me from buying a fitbit. I perfer the simple look of the devices over the gaudy look of the Samsung Gear.

Please add fitbit to SHealth accessories! I don't always have my phone with me and just got a fitbit flex so I could track without carrying my phone. SHealth is amazing and tracks my steps a showing exercises perfectly, if I could continue monitoring this with my new fitbit flex, that would be amazing

I have created an Android app that imports Fitbit body weight data to S Health.  The app is called "Fit and Healthy" and can be found under the partner apps of S Health in the fitness category.  The app can be downloaded here.  I have started a topic about it here:

Syncing weight between the two apps is my least desired function. It's not that hard for me to enter my weight into both. I want it to sync steps, excercise time and duration, etc. The ones I can't manually enter.

I would use S Health if I could import my data, but then again, if Fitbit would just let me have the functionality of S Health, I wouldn't need it. How about blood pressure and blood glucose Fitbit?

I'm sure I am not the only one. Why not have one stop shopping for your health? It would be great if I could share with my doctor one app that would give him/her everything to manage my health.

One app for health to rule them all!

I track my food intake with S Health because it shows all the macro nutrients not just calories in/out. Would be great to sync it with fitbit.
