Support Thai Language for all Fitbit devices

In Thailand, Garmin fast sold their items because they have friendly language with Thai people. I like Fitbit brand more than Garmin but many times I have problem with who's calling or who're text or chat to me?

If it can be possible, please support this issue.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. I hope this issue can improve your sales & market share in Thailand

Warmest Regards,
Khrin

It's already one year since the topics started and notthing happened yet. Lots of my friend asked about my watch and I have to tell them not to buy it because Fitbit cannot support Thai notification and fitbit pay doesn't work properly. I would buy Fitbit more for my family if this issue is fix. Don't forget that sometimes product needs word of mount and when a real user's not recommend your products to their family and friends it's disaster because words will spread out and they will choose your competitor over your brand with no hesitate and it's hard to get them back. It's very cheap to deverlop and upgrade this issue comparing to the marketing cost you have to pay for turning the target customers who already changed thire mind to your competitor.

Please considered it and act fast because I'm one user that when I change a new smartwatch, I will change to the others brands and I thinks lots of your customer thinks the same.

As of today I see no action from Fitbit although we had plenty of support from Thai community on this. So finally I'm glad I sold my Charge 3 and turn to another smart watch that support Thai language. Farewell Fitbit !!!

Thai language is need to complete with other brands in Thailand. We like to help expand the food database too.

This thread is almost 2 years so there might be no hope for this.

Any progress on this matter after 1 year has passed for Ionic and 2 more years in Blaze? No even progress feedback for this issue.

Fitbit, can you tell me whar's so difficult about supporting Thai language? You already support UTF-8 don't you? Can't you just roll a language pack in there and be done with it?

+1 for TH language Versa / Ionic,,

as a loyalty consumer from Charge HR, Charge HR2, Ionic, Versa 2.

For me , I really like Fitbit even not support Thai Language.

But this will be more aowsome if it's support TH language, I believe that fitbit have a lot of consumer that love this warable. (from the comment). else they would change to another brand already 🙂

Believed that they ready to be FitBit loyalty consumer if they got support from Dev team.

I'm looking forward to update Firmware to support TH language ^^

@SunsetRunner  As your request.
*** I forgot to insert this forum link. If anyone complains about this issue, please don't forget to insert the link of this forum in the complain form.

This is what I wrote to the Federal Trade Commission about Fitbit inc.

The Fitbit company didn't try to fix or response to the issue of supporting the Thai language in its products. The product is selling in Thailand but they didn't indicate on the product package that it does not support the Thai language. When I found out I tried to contact the company via the website and I found the community forum to complain about this issue to the company. The Fitbit team asks the user to vote to support this issue on the forum. Lots of users ask for the support of this issue for more than 1 years but the company acts nothing. I think this issue does not suppose to happen because they sell the product in my country officially but the company tries to hide the most important feature which every commercial industry whose sells a similar product in my country has. So, I didn't aware of this issue. This company makes me lose the money and opportunity to buy its competitor product by hiding this issue.

I just bought my Versa 2 here in Thailand a few days ago. Not knowing prior to the purchase that it would not support notification in Thai (nor did the package stating anywhere the supported language), I am so disappointed and feel watsed on my money to receive notification in ???? ( especially from Line app.)  I would never imagine to realize that smart gagets on sale in the global market nowadays would not support international languages other than English.  I don't think it is inability of the Fitbit  not to support Thai language but rather the ignorance of the company not to listen to the Thai customer needs in its products. My sincere hope is that eventually in the near future Fitbit would come to senses that to earn customer's royalty is to meet customer's expectations. Otherwise what the purpose of you in business..

I enjoyed using Fitbit Charge HR, Alta HR, and now I just bought Inspire HR. It’s been 5 years since my first fitbit (without using notification on messages). So I did not realize that fitbit does not support Thai until I just tried to turn notification of messages on Inspire. This is really poor support. Wondering why 200+ votes wouldn’t be considered to fix, and this has been suggested since 2018.
