Track Relaxation/Mindfulness progress

I was wondering if anyone else was interested in having a way to track mindfulness, meditation, or relaxation exercises in the Fitbit app?? I know there’s an app in the ionic watch for doing relaxation, but there’s no way to track progress or anything as a feature in the phone dashboard app? I would really be interested in that being added! Doesn’t seem like it would be too difficult to add considering it’s already an activity to do as part of the watch, just need a way to log it and keep track/record of mindfulness moments for reflecting on my progress!?! Any other votes for such a feature???

Hi @Helrog, thanks for your request about being able to see the relax results on the Fitbit app.

This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here to maintain this board organized.

I really enjoy the Relax feature because it gets me started for meditation. I have a personal goal to meditate for at least 10 minutes a day, and it's acceptable to me if I bare minimum do the "Relax" feature for 2 minutes 5 times.

At the end of the session it says how many "Relaxed" days you've done out of 7. Is there somewhere you can see these stats in the app? I'm not finding it.

I really enjoy using the Relax function on my Fitbit, but it's really frustrating that I can't add it to my dashboard to let me track my progress & see how I've been doing for the week. I mean, the mini summery at the end of the Relax session is nice, but it's just not quite enough. Any chance that options coming sometime soon?

I use Headspace and would love to have my Headspace sessions logged in Fitbit activity for the day.

Hi!

As it is increasingly regonized that  mental health is extremely important for our overall 'fitness', I would love to see this being more incorporated into the Fitbit products.

For this reason, I think the Relax app is a great addition, but it would be even better if this app and the results would also be integrated into the dashboard. In this way you would be able to track the number of sessions as well as the results/improvements in your breathing.

Cheers!

Yes, we can totally benefit from this!

Being able to track our meditation/week seems easy but as well as important!

Especially that now, with the premium subscription, we have access to meditation exercises, it sounds rather unreasonable to be accepted if we want to log the meditation exercise (when we finish) as an activity! Is should be logged as a meditation. Also, having access to slow breathing exercises on the watch makes it even better!

Totally need this

It would be great if there was a way to track/log daily mindfulness practice, as well as to set goals for such, just like the way the app logs water intake and calories. The only way I can see of doing this currently is to log it as daily exercise, but it really ought to be it's own entity.

Hi @LinziMS, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to track Relaxation/Mindfulness progress on the Fitbit app. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request.  A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.

I would like to see a section for Mindfulness to keep meditations and exercise session apart. I've been using the various guided meditations available in the app and finding them really useful. But it seems odd to me that the meditations are counted in the Exercise section.

Hey!

Unfortunately, I do not see a mindfulness tile in my FitBit (I have a
premium subscription). Does it take a while to role out internationally, or
is it an issue from my side?

Best,
Ricardo
